Thank you for this video, I am replacing the factory housing on my wife's SLK-350 with the left & right DEPO light housings. This walked me right through it and no issues.

Good video. Will mention when reinstalling the headlights, make SURE the silver clips underneath the lights line up with the holes. Otherwise, you will have do deal with a PITA situation.

Thank you for this video.....it wasn't exactly easy but I got it done. I am one that did drop the bumper for access. The two 10mm bolts holding the bumper to the fender well underneath are muthas....well at least to me they were. Next will be the windshield washer pump and that piece of rear splashguard may require getting underneath to remove.

Thanks so much for your kind words. If you are referring when we are installing them, I believe that we've left the protective film during the installation process, which may look like crack or scratches. If you are referring to the straight lines shown in the last part of the video (DEPO headlight's functionality), then the lines are part of the molding process for the lens as the OEM headlights also have these lines. There is no need to remove the bumper to remove the headlight assembly..! I did mine this morning trying to follow your video until I carefully looked and found out that the assembly has 2 bolts on top as you said while the one at the bottom is an easy access if you remove the half inner wheel arch, which take and extra 15 minutes. Removing the front bumper is too much work for nothing and could lead to body alignment issues, while removing the inner wheel arch is very easy and do not compromise anything.

Thanks for this feedback! We will be sure to note this. We've done this vehicle after a W209 installation, which the W209 Chassis required the bumper to come off to install/replace the headlights. We appreciate your input and hope others can find your tip useful.

it is easier to remove the inner shield and remove the screws from there ...i do its so easy...

Hi J Badinter , thanks for the info , did you have any problems getting it out with out removing the bumper looks like the edge of the headlamp is behind the bumper , i will be looking at my wife's car at the weekend to remove the headlamp Cheers Phill

two bolts up and one on the front side of the wing guard...no problem
