The narrative from all the British media that it was close. It wasn’t, it was close up until round 8, then Usyk won every round and got the knockdown. They tried to rob him on the score cards, but thankfully he’d done enough. It shouldn’t have been stopped in the 9th, yeah fury was badly hurt, but it’s undisputed, a champion should be given every chance.

Only the referee can explain why he didn’t stop the fight in the 9th round. Instead of stopping the fight, he intervened to prevent Usyk from inflicting more damage on Fury.

115 to 112 Uysk. Hard to see any other score with Usyk winning the last 5 rounds. Usyk landed a big overhand left to Fury's temple in the 9th that took his legs away and would have knocked most people out. The Referee was right to step in as Fury was only stopped from being floored by the ropes as per the rules. It should have then just been a standing 8 count. Instead the referee gave Fury too much time. There was still at least 10 seconds left in the round. Uysk could have then ended the fight as fury could not be saved by the end of the round as per the rules. So one punch changed the fight. Before that punch Fury had the tactics right with the upper cuts and Usyk didn't have an answer. In a replay if Fury again goes to the upper cut and Usyk doesn't land a big shot then Fury will win.

The referee knows the CLOCK, and only stepped in to give the "Standing 8 Count" running out the clock the last 15-20 seconds of that round!!! My question is... Was that the same referee who saved Fury from a KO loss to Deontay Wilder??? Need to remove that referee!!!
