Total Amygdala Hijack on ‘Karen’s’ part…… I’m a retired police officer, either way you cut it no one has the right to touch another person in this manner. Speaking to the girl about the short skirt would have been the only course of action if Karen was concerned about the younger kids seeing her in such a state of dress. You don’t go about violating boundaries for the purpose of virtue signaling.
She calls them “little teenagers” up until she gets to the part where they confront her. Then all of a sudden they’re “a gang of woman with their boyfriends”.
The switch is absolutely purposeful. She uses infantizing language to try and persuade the listener into seeing her as motherly or a parental/authority figure when discussing what SHE did, then immediately changes her language to make the listener sympathize with her about what THEY did so people view her as a victim being ganged up on. It definitely shows us how she views the situation in her own head! She must be tired from all those mental gymnastics 😂
Doesn't it make it even worse to touch a MINOR?!? Imagine if someone came up to your child and started pulling on their clothes! Talking about their privates! And using vulgar language while doing so!
To my mind it would have been less problematic to simply discreetly whisper to the girl that she was exposed in the rear and a minor was able to see more than she might want to show. Then let her resolve it herself. Under no circumstances is adjusting the clothing of another human being without their enthusiastic consent (meaning not coerced) acceptable. Working for the state prosecutor she really should have known that it would be seen as assault.
She is a Karen. She knows so much that isn;t true that he has to inform everyone they are wrong...and assault them if they disagree. Typical Karen behavior.
She said “I believe in freedom of speech…those posts need to come down.” The officer: “…that’s freedom of speech 🤨” This dude deserves a promotion, fr 🙌👏
@@marcshields3677 If she was a democrat, I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t have done anything to her skirt. Cause remember, “the dems all are trying to influence the kids negatively”. It can’t be both. I swear dems and repubs don’t remember the stuff they spurt out against each other when they want to call someone else a dem or repub. 🤦🏾♀️
@@CanYouHandleTheTruth-rk4mf The police officer she talked to on the phone was great. He listens without being judgemental, but he gives very clear and direct answers. It's the best thing she could get in such a situation (a mirror to reflect upon her behavior). She didn't take full advantage of that opportunity.
Legal consultant and the citizens of Utah should be highly suspicious of the rest of the Attorney General’s Office employees if this is someone they’d hire. Birds of a feather and all that.
Exactly! I'm honestly surprised that this isn't mentioned more in these comments. She's a bitter old woman who is past her prime, lost her looks, resented the younger prettier girl, didn't like that the girl was getting the attention she never/no longer got, and *that's* what this is clearly all actually about. Otherwise, she would've just left with her son.
I think what triggered her to inappropriately touch the girl was the fact that the girl’s bare bottom was exposed in a public restaurant. The girl admitted she had no underwear on, so the lady was seeing that. It wasn’t just a “short skirt. Imagine a young man in a restaurant with his pants half way down his butt, exposing himself in a restaurant. People want to normalize this behavior. The girl admitted she has mental health issues regarding her appearance. She should get the help she needs too.
@@yashathebelgianmalinois348 there was also a 10 year old at what I assume was eye level, like yeah no excuse for this karen to touch someone without consent, but she would have been a lot more effective if she had privately relayed her complaint in terms of someone committing public indecency, and then we would be talking about something else entirely
The more than likely sickening truth is that her relationship with her son is more of a son husband she confronted those young girls because she got jealous
@@MovieMuscle Is that true? That would be terrible, actually. There are a lot of people who are fighting frivolous law suits, and who depend on support like this.
“I didn’t touch her, I only touched her skirt”… clearly she is oblivious that clothing is an extension of a person. Otherwise anyone would be able to touch anyone else and claim they just touched their shirt, pants, etc.
She had no right to touch anyone. She did however have the right to leave the establishment if she was offended. No one has the right to touch you for any reason...
She even could have approached them or the restaurant to complain. Still would have been seen as a Karen, but she was within her rights to do that. What she did do is a crime.
@@jakiic23 She did approach them. She had no right to do that its none of her business what the young women wear. Their parents had no problem with it, so why did she? The restaurant couldnt do anything about what they wore. I'm glad the young ladies went to the police and told them what the woman did. Very smart of them. She thought it was no big deal. Well she's learned it was a big deal.
Why did she keep repeating that she works for the state? Does she think that automatically gives her moral superiority and total credibility in any situation?
she brandished her "job credentials" at the restaurant to make it looks as if she had authority to touch the girl, and then complained that her job description was online...
@@bulkvanderhuge9006 I should be a potato battery and win a stolen election. If I loved America, I would have to stay in office to keep the real problem from taking my office.
As a woman, my first instinct would be to warn the girl/woman if they were exposed (which was discovered to not be the case as she described) to save her the embarrassment or potential creeps. This woman clearly does not support other woman and has some serious jealousy issues.
Exactly!!! But instead she took it upon herself to physically address the "issue" and seems to think bc she works for the state that gives her the right to deal with this situation as she deemed fit. Beyond ridiculous. I just cannot wrap my head around it.
The consensus of the witnesses was, yes, someone cover up her junk. But no, you can't put your hands on the exhibitionist. Nowadays, you have to be the first to call the authorities, or get the manager to ask the exposer to cover themselves. Shield the ten year olds eyes..
@@tamarabrack7390 NO, she was shaming the young woman for dressing in a way she thought was morally wrong. If she was worried she could have stood up to block her son’s view of the woman. (And her boyfriend’s view lol😂)
That's absolutely correct. She believed she had the authority and the duty to do so. She was wrong & she's learning why & how. It was a very different world with very different boundaries between women and girls when I & she grew up. This wouldn't have become a police issue 40 years ago. Sadly, this lady hasn't kept up with the times.
A grown woman has the right to wear whatever she wants, just like the lady who didn’t like the skirt has the right to wear whatever she wants. If the girl was a minor, it STILL isn’t her place since she isn’t the parent.
Karens are THE single most important person around and their opinions are Law even if they’re not. Just ask them, they’ll tell you.😂 Inside every Karen is a kid that never got a beat down for trying to be a Kid Karen.
He’s probably got her on speaker and all the police listening are cracking up at the gall this lady has!! She probably caught her boyfriend sneaking a peak and she took her anger out on the young ladies.
It’s like when Alex Jones keeps making up stories on his show about random people going up to him, crying and telling him how he was right all along and they were wrong and are so sorry for ever doubting him.
So when they are offending you its okay to call them little girls, but when dodging responsibilities you refer to them as "women attacking you". Ridiculous Karen.
@@thomasparsley8195 right! She felt the need to insert herself in a situation she had no right to be in. She also sexually harass someone because she felt like she needed to be a hero. Awful lady!
I’m a woman in my mid 30s. I don’t spend any time thinking about what teens are wearing nor would I consider touching a stranger like that. She sounds jealous.
She wasn’t jealous, she said there were kids there. It’s a family restaurant. *Yes, she should have JUST said something.* *But my thinking is, if it were a man exposing himself, the comment section would be a complete 180°.* *She could have tackled him to the floor and everyone would be applauding her.* *But you all seem to be really okay with women exposing themselves in public. If it’s a woman exposing herself, you just “mind your business.”*
Just because you think someone is dressed inappropriately doesn’t give you any right to touch someone. Her logic is completely unhinged. I hope one day she realizes what she did was wrong.
So instead of discreetly telling the girl “you may not have realized, but your shorts/skirt slid down/slid up”. You physically touched her?! Even if she wasn’t a minor, that’s still assault.
Many years ago when I was still wearing mini skirts this happened to me and a lovely older woman came up to me and quietly told me my skirt had ridden up and then told me what a lovely outfit I was wearing, we chatted for a few moments, I thanked her and we went about our day. No fuss, no drama, just an older lady looking out for a silly young girl
100000000%, I wore a short skirt out and it rode up without me realizing and another woman came up to me and said my outfit was cute and then leaned in and let me I may need to readjust, AND she stood in front of me to help with privacy while I tugged everything back right in a corner of the bar.
Literally!! I've told many girls in public things like "hey girl idk if you knew this already but-" about shorts, skirts, and dresses. Especially leggings she may not realize are somewhat see through. Never thought to ever GRAB them?? This is nuts.
I love how they morphed from "a bunch of little 16, 17, & 18 year olds" to a "gang of women". 😂 Don't touch anyone in any way if you don't know them and/or don't have permission to touch them.
Yes exactly. That's why I keep my hands to myself. I'll shake hands and introduce myself in a friendly manner if meeting someone for the first time or if shake hands and say hello to friends and colleagues but apart from that I operate on a hands to myself policy. It's common sense and common decency. In Australia most people will apologise if they accidentally bump in to you in a crowded shop, ECT. I can't understand the mentally of pulling on a complete stranger's clothing. Absolutely ridiculous and arrogant
@@claudiarios7744 She's pretty darn lucky that the "gang of women " had the decency to NOT lay hands on her! She wasn't worried about the 10 yr old kid, she was ticked off that her BF was looking!!
she also claimed her buttocks and "entire vagina" was visible. the girls skirt was short, but entirely covered everything and then some, and she was wearing underwear. she just looks for excuses to harm people and then says whatever lies to try and get away with it.... she has probably done this forever
I don't believe anyone clapped for her, She was lying to make herself look like some kind of "Savior" she saved the entire restaurant from seeing this girl's thighs... lol
@@EbonyWhitee OH NO!! WILL SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!?!??!?!? *clutches pearls* *faints* those children would never have turned into teens and figure out their own sexuality if not for this MONSTER of a woman!!
@EbonyWhitee little kids watching? Watching what, someone that had underwear and shorts under a skirt? Watching their mother assault someone? Watch an adult not know when they are wrong and how to accept responsibility and how to apologize? You wanna teach kids, how about not making a scene and ruining everyone's dinner. Should punishment be proportionate to the crime, or do we just go full on when someone crosses a line and destroy their career and their reputation completely? What degree of consequence would be enough for you?
@user-dp4li7og1p She was a Civil servant!!! Employed by the Government and this pathetic entitled excuse of a woman thought it acceptable to TOUCH a stranger! It doesn’t matter what the person was wearing The entitlement that this wretch has is crazy, and she’s not capable of her job! Internalized gendered misogyny. Mortified as a fellow Gen Xer female. WTF?? I'm afraid to give acquaintances hugs these days, let alone even the thought to touch a stranger or their clothing. Unbelievable.
It got worse. She had a gofundme account playing the victim that lost her job. People actually donated to her. Nowhere on the GFM account does she even mention her crime. Bizarre to say the least.
The thing that broke my heart was that this teen was struggling so badly with body image issues!?! Ive got a little girl, and I just hope and pray she doesnt have to suffer like that.
I really appreciate how the Police handled this situation. Didn’t dismiss the issue, didn’t immediately take the side of the Karen since she was first to report - enforced the law the correct and professional way. Kudos to them.
she seems like the type who has spent her entire life trying to mess with people, entirely on purpose. then she says just whatever she thinks might get her out of it
It's funny she says this, because the girls say a completely different story. No one did a standing ovation for her touching another girl inappropriately. I don't believe a damn word she says
@@zoe6723 Exactly. She could have asked to speak to the girl privately and just told her that her rear was visible. The girl might have thanked her and pulled her own skirt down. Touching the girl’s skirt without her consent is assault.
As she continued to say “all their little friends”, I started to wonder about her age. It immediately just registered her as petty and self-absorbed to me. (And maybe a bit immature or juvenile.)
I think it’s so interesting how at the beginning she’s infantilizing them and calling them little girls, teenagers, etc. but then when the girl’s friends retaliate and tell her that what she did was inappropriate she calls them a “group of women” … interesting choices of language
I don’t know who first said that word, but the first time I heard it on Charlotte Dobres channel, I’ve thought it was so spot on. It sounds just right for what it means!
Right?!? What baffles me is that people who "work for the State", "work in government", have a government job, do NOT have authority of us! We PAY THEM! They literally WORK FOR US! Not the other way around! They are hired to do a service for the public whose taxes pays their salary! Americans run our own country. We employ these people. We don't live in some weird democracy, dictatorship, monarchy, or anything else where the government is in charge! WE THE PEOPLE ARE IN CHARGE OF THEM! She is literally a PUBLIC SERVANT! She is supposed to SERVE us. To do a SERVICE for us! In exchange for payment FROM us! Imagine you hired someone to put in your new dishwasher and they came in your house and told you what you could and couldn't watch on TV! That's what this is!
@inthelandofmorethansmall7582 Just a little FYI. I'm in NO WAY condoning this woman's behavior. The idea that you pay taxes, so you pay government workers salaries and that means they work for you. OK, well guess what? Government workers pay taxes too, so, they pay their own salaries. Most of them do these jobs because they actually want to make a difference.
@@deb3373 Now let's talk about the whole reason policemen exist in the first place. You're starting a country. You and some others get together to decide on some basic rules. Don't touch what's not yours without permission. Don't hurt anyone else. Be honest. Do your part and pull your weight or else you don't get to eat. Right? Those are basic universal concepts. Okay, but what if someone does it anyway? Old Andrew down the road likes to steal Betties tomatoes from her Garden! So what do you do? You all get together and choose someone to go get Andrew and punish him with whatever consequences you've all agreed upon. Those people are Police. How do they get paid for this? Let's say you've decided to make everyone pay taxes. And then you'll pay for these police - and any other future jobs you come up with to serve the country / community's needs - by taking just a small bit from each person. And that still includes the people doing the jobs. ******** That still means that the police work for the taxpayers. That still means they are supposed to serve the community. Literally their only job is to work for the public when they're on duty. Now when they are NOT "on duty", they are not expected to serve the public. That's because they aren't getting paid by the taxpayers to do that job. ********** So do you understand now why it doesn't make any difference that cops pay taxes too? They still work for the taxpayers. Do you get it now?
@@deb3373 We have known for a long time that certain personality types are attracted to certain professions. For example, empathetic, compassionate people are typically drawn to nursing or childcare. Narcissists who require external validation tend to be drawn to acting - which is why Hollywood is so fill of crazy people who just want attention. Well, people with large pr fragile egos tend to be drawn to police work. They crave a position of power that gives them the ability to bully everyone around them. Some of them have always been bullies. Some of them were bullied in school and now they're angry so they want to take it out on the public in general. No. Not ALL policemen are egotistical bullies who crave power and authority... But recent studies estimate that at least 78% of them are. So your claim that "most of them" go into policework to help others is false.
She’s so concerned with her child being exposed to this “type of thing”, and then brings her kid to the police station with her and repeatedly graphically talks about it in front of him.
“I got a standing ovation” she literally used “and then everyone clapped” to defend a real life crime. Girl never grew out of the first-gen tumblr mentality 😭😭😭
@peter-sr1zd I think you vastly underestimate the efficacy of our legal system. I literally just watched a doc about a case in Utah where a man was found to have 1500 CSAM images and videos stored to his cloud, along with videos of his own child changing and down her shirt. There was evidence he was essentially stalking his young teenage daughter by videoing her through her window at night. All of that evidence and he got less than a year and served less than his sentence. There are soooo many cases of assault against girls and women and if the perpetrator gets any time at all it’s often egregiously short.
lol, it wasn't a little kid, and she touched the skirt, not her private parts, but yeah, she shouldn't have done that and called the police instead for indecent exposure in front of minors....
Narcissists are truly interesting humans ! Sometimes they behave like they are allergic to simple logic. I often wonder how they manage to live as long as normal people! 🤔
Well since they don't show what she claimed could be seen we cannot say if she was initially right or wrong. Even if she was right that didn't give her ANY authority or power to do what she did. So even if she started out right she quickly went full wrong.
@@Stubbies2003 the girl was wearing shorts (and underwear) under the skirt. It's exactly what my daughter does when she wears very short skirts! So she didn't see what she thinks she saw! not that any of that matters. the point is that she was offended which doesn't make her right!
When she started getting harassed she realized her behavior had been publicly exposed she thought if she got to the police first she'd have the upper hand. Wrong.
