@SChome100
@SChome100 8 лет назад
iclark2400 yeah wow just to imagine to scale of it all blows my mind. Just makes me realize how minuscule we are in the grand scheme of things. Our sun is massive but when you compare it to the other stars out there you can't even see it on the radar. Our small minds have a hard time grasping the sheer enormity of it all that's why we use light years to explain such great distances.
@iclark2400
@iclark2400 8 лет назад
SChome100 the sheer size of our Sun blew my mind when I was a child first learning about space and stars, but UY Scuti takes it to a whole other level and we'll soon discover stars much bigger than that so my mind is gonna be exponentially blown each time :-0

+2000wires gamming (wires) Or they'd migrate.
@wires-sl7gs
@wires-sl7gs 8 лет назад
Cameron McAllister That's a Possablity but on the other side of the planet would be winter or summer based on where they migrated from, sense the seasons last neary 10000 years that's eough time for them to adapt and take adventage of the climate. Also if you add more water it would have landmasses that are winter or summer for 10000 years.
@cameronmcallister7606
@cameronmcallister7606 8 лет назад
2000wires gamming While they could adapt, why would they? If they have a food source that takes 3000 years to grow and only 1000 years to deplete, but no other creatures ate it due to limited supply, then migration would work well.
@wires-sl7gs

Like you if you would be sitting inside your house looking out the window. And they call it fact lol. This is pseudoscience. The keyword they (astronomists) use is "imagine". *Imagine.. magic.. wauwww*

Antov. I see that you zoomed out of the solar system. Then out of the milky way. And on and on. How do you do that? I just got the game(bought it because of you actually). I tried zooming out like you did in this video but It didnt work. Is there a certain simulation I need to click on? I would really appreciate a response.

Awesome video! But I think you meant 60 degrees Fahrenheit, when talking about average temperatures. 60 in Celsius would be like a sauna.

Can you make a video explaining how space time works ? i mean when i look at the stars i look back in time right ? those lights on the sky are milions of years old and problably all those stars are dead by now ....

Nit-pick: largest star in terms of diameter, but not to be confused with the most MASSIVE star.

The narrator states that UY Scuti being placed where our sun is would absorb all celestial bodies out to Saturn including our sun and because it has absorbed our sun be drawn into super-nova status due to now being "unstable". Im relatively sure that this wouldn't happen, as this isn't the way super-novas work-nor thermonuclear fusion.

Why VY Canis Majoris and Betelguese still didn't hit after a long time orbiting each other? It seems the distance between these two stars are constant.

VY Canis Majoris became a meme between me and my friends and was used as a fat joke sometimes. When I found out that something was bigger than it I felt a bit sad Cus I thought it was the biggest lol. Rest in peace Canis Majoris (you weren't the biggest :,( )

comparing its density to the density of the sun, it should technically be possible if something were to orbit near its surface that it could suck up the majority of its gases
