Only "survival" game with good progression. Actually plays like an Action RPG. I loved every second of it when it was in Gloomroot. Absolute blast 4 player co-op

Oh wow, I never saw this game before and this looks absolutely fun AF!!

I spent over 150h on the EA back then, and it was already extremely good. The private PvP servers with special rules were especially fun (combat system is excellent) Can't wait to get back to it when I find some time.

I am definitely one of the true fan of VRising. I was so amazed with the 1.0 version, especially the storage and production enhancement.I love the castel relocation link. It truly helps a lot in categorizing all the salvaged materials and made it easy for production and all the relocation hassels. However, if the developer can make somewhat a "link" (if you have played enshrouded, you will know what i mean), you can simply walk to the furnace or the woodmill without picking up the salvage materials from the storage cabinet and produce directly, it would be fun! Anyway Thanks Codiak, is indeed a fabulous recommendation. It was a money worth game i have played so far.

Theres a lot of dum dum in the comment so i will explain it briefly The release is in PC As of release we got official steam controller support There’s no story as of now idk if they even planned one. You can play both PvP or PVE, public or private solo/with friends If you play public PvP/PvE theres rules to each server so i suggest choose well and yes there is server wipes like rust If you play on Private solo/co-op you could customize almost everything in the game or even disable on some like building decay rate, equipment dutability, all the debuff ingame you can make it very building centric by unlocking everything IN the server setting. Or made it PvE Centric by buffing enemy health and attack. Its all yours to edit to your liking.

its a great game to transition from Enshrouded or the other way around, it's a big dubs how ARPG element is implemented well; if you're are itchin for combat? there's ARPG. want a breather and still get the sense of progress? survival crafting.

Disappointed they still haven't added NPC's being able to raid your castle . It's the 2nd most requested feature since EA. It would make both PVP and PVE even more fun.

Huge fan of V Rising, played over 500 hours and beaten pre1.0 with every weapon (10+ full playthroughs), and the one slight weakness I'd say is with ranged. This game is designed around melee or mid-to-short range combat, so being all ranged (especially if you're using skeletons) the game becomes far too easy. Other than that, looking forward to putting another 500 hours in and loving most all of the changes so far.

Just a tip for people who hate weird game perspectives like this: download the over the shoulder camera mod. It changes everything

I am not a fan of survival base building games. But I do love Vampires and gothic bloody epic storytelling. So Is the game heavily MMO/Co op based or is the story focus so great that I can play it as an open world action story driven experience?

I went to the Haunted Iron Mine on a PvP server and I was greeted by two other players who were running away from mine, both with 1%hp left and on fire, screaming in proximity chat PLEASE DON'T KILL US!!!! While being chased by a French lady shouting BLESS THIS SHOT! I love this game. And for the record I couldn't bring myself to kill those two players I was laughing so hard. But now I feel like I should have cause those fuckers got out with ALL THE DAMN IRON.

Is there a constant need to use that resource from keeping your build from disappearing? I hated that if I logged off for a while, my castle would disappear. Not a good system for people that have responsibilities. I refunded because of that.

I've been watching this one for quite a while and unfortunately, the price hasn't dropped low enough for me to care at a period in time where there wasn't something more pressing to pick up, and now they've increased the price, nah... I think I'mma wait until I can get the full game and all dlc for less than $40 because of the curse of early access. What I mean by the curse of early access is that it doesn't matter how much value you add after the initial launch, no one will be willing to pay an increased price at full release. On top of this, releasing dlc prior to 1.0 shows poor money management which will further drive away sales... yeah, I respect the game is good and that's why I want it... but this price for a game that's been playable for 2 years...? nope... they're crazy... Oh, and before anyone thinks me a hypocrite, I don't like that 7 days to die is pulling this crap too... the only reason I have that one is because it's been in several humble bundles before launch. The only benefit to 7 days to die is they didn't release dlc prior to 1.0.

Can i play this game solo offline?

Idk why it’s not coming to Xbox. Especially, for a small studio not playing the complete field of console world. But hey, their loss in revenue & players.

I just have an issue with a game that has multiple paid DLCs before v1.0 If I bought the whole thing now, it would cost me $84, and that is steep.. even for a brand new AAA title. Glad it's good though, and will keep an eye on it during the winter sale.

i hate pvp in games like this & i come from planetside1/2 a pvp only game V rising pvp will be a griefer troll fest some max lvls will crush u and your bace like a bug & steal your crap or camp the bosses to u cant progress this is not my first rodeo in survival games trying to do pvp i refuse to do it. if they a zone or arena then i might but not like thiss all go play a real pvp game but hav fun getting ganked in the middle of your boss fights
