Adventure is afoot! This week, we venture into Coconino National Forest to explore the backcountry around Sedona, where the Arizona landscape shows off its most vibrant colors. Mother nature tests my resolve as I endure a windy evening in the ground tent. The Land Rover Defender 110 traverses Schnebly Hill Road with grace and aplomb as inconsequential bits fall off. The episode concludes with a picturesque hike along the Hangover Trail.

I love Sedona. This brought back memories of my trip 2 years ago. I have always wanted to go back. Now even more so. The people are friendly, the scenery is jaw-dropping, and the trails are so clean. I almost always find something when I'm hiking, but there, not even a bottle cap. If you've never taken 89A, towards Flagstaff, I recommend it, it's a gorgeous drive. I really enjoy your content. You cinematography is outstanding. Keep up the great work, and safe travels.

Ahhh! To be young again. Crawling under vehicles, leaping up on to rocks . . . Great photographic cinematography in the last couple minutes of the video. You definitely have a photographer's eye. Looking forward to your travels north and to see Orangie again.

Thanks,I was planning on being there in Sedona NOW, but my rig not done )waiting on suspension the rest is ready. Will be there next spring or maybe this fall I just thought spring would be better. Coming from east coast. Again thanks really looking forward after this video

Recognized Schnebly Hill road almost instantly, not sure if you still can but you used to be able to go all the way to I-17 and vice versa. Awesome picnic spot at the top looking down Oak Creek.

We went to Sedona this past summer. It’s an absolutely beautiful place. We had planned to do Schnebly Hill but due to drought conditions the National Forests were closed.

Schnebly Hill Rd. can be navigated with a 2013 Scion xD with a Curt tow hitch affording around 4” of clearance under the bumper. Ask me how I know. 😉You should have seen the faces on the Pink Jeep Tour passengers as they contemplated the cost of their share of a bench seat when they witnessed this conversation between me and their driver: Driver- How are you doing that?! Me- Just have to pick a good line. Driver- I GUESS SO! Honestly, I was prepared to try it with the intention to turn around when my luck ran out. That never happened. I camped for free on the rim at the top on Forest Service land. The next morning the six miles further east on a very drivable dirt road flanked by ponderosa pines delivered me to I-17. I’ll have to 3D print my own Merit Badge…right, Jeep?

OMG! Please change that oil in the Defender immediately! I’ve never seen oil that black in a working motor. It cannot be providing any lubrication or protection at all!

It's typical for oil to be dark black on a diesel engine, even after an oil change it doesn't stay "clean" for long.

Put some new bushings in that sway bar for gods sake..lol you may want to try not to put the 3rd member right over ever rock in the center of the trail too. You ever do maintenance on that rig.
