You are probably right about getting some more flight time in on a simulator Tasos Data Medic! It was a little windy outside when we shot this video, so considering the gusts of wind, it did pretty well for its' size. Thanks a lot for watching!

As great as this little copter has been at taking a few crashes from us, we definite'y don't plan on intentionally being rough on it. Sorry to hear about yours being so brittle, but that is great that you got it to your door for $50.00! I bought one from Amazon mostly because of your videos, and the V911-pro reviews. It is as good as everybody says, and very durable. You must do proper setup and adjustments before flying. After getting one I crashed many times and ordered about $20 in parts (2 tail motors with mounts, 1 main motor, 2 carbon tail shaft, 5 batteries and more) so I have more than plenty of spares, all worth it. I have not had 4 or 6 channel or CP heli in years and planning on building a Trex 450 clone ($300+) but got this first, I am very glad that I did and will keep this V911-pro. The fisheye swashplate upgrade (2-6$ with carbon main shaft) is the best, order it with your V911-pro and it will come some weeks later and you will be ready to use it. Thank you RcSaylors!!😁😁😆

Not sure about bomb proof Jonathan, but you're right about how well if flies! We were absolutely surprised after our first few flights, and even now still love how well it does. I still can't get over the fact that you get TWO batteries with it! =^) Thanks a lot for watching!

I bought a "Propel Speed Star 2.0" from The Source for about $100. I think the frame and controller is identical to this one, but the body looks like a real helicopter (not just a cone shape). This is hands-down the best RC helicopter I have player with. The control is incredible - with about an hour total of experience I am able to fly this throughout our house - going in and out of rooms - up and down stairways - and swoop around at high speeds. Super cool!

I have three V911's and three V911 Pro's. I put SMT Red / Green LED's on the side of the skids for NAV lights, a good far reaching flashlight LED in the front and programmed a tiny micro to flash a strobe LED on the tail. I need the lights to chase my dogs at night.

TIPS: Give drops of WD40 oil in every bolt, joints, gears, bars and inside of motors. That way you can reduce more than 50% of sound and lots of minor vibration from it. My v911 and other hovers at one spot accurate smoothly. :) I didn't trim any adjustment from controller except for tail motor rotate. From heli, I adjusted link bars from servers ( Very Important, takes long time and every each spins from it makes lot difference ) and give few drops of WD40 at where it needs ( link bolt, joint, gears and inside of motors ) It can protect damages on joints and gears from crashing to the wall or heavy fall also it will give boost which means it will run faster. Note: Not for all helis, Only for size as v911 model helis. :)

very helpful, I am clueless when it come to this but I really wanted one as a Christmas present so after browsing and not understanding half the specs and descriptions I tried youtube. I watched this made so much more sense and answered all questions I had. I bought it on Amazon for just under $40.

Just got one of these on ebay for only $37.00 so get some more of them! They even make a metal upgrade kit to modify it! I love this copter and have owned a bunch! By far one of the best 4 channels out there for the money!

I'm impressed!!! These little copters (not this exact 1) are what I learned to fly on. Mine were only 3.5 channels though and didn't come w/half of what the V911does. I mean very nice 4 channel full size remote, 2 lipo batteries and charger. So glad I watched this as I just burnt the motor out of my last mini. Now have to decide between this or the ProtoX.?.?.AAAAHHH!!! Decisions !!! Nice review Saylors, thank you.

I have about a dozen different styles of indoor captors and enjoy flying them all. Here's some tips for a great indoor game I made up to play with friends and my kids etc to help improve your flying skills. print of a bunch of (H) landing pads marked BASE, CRASH SCENE, HOSPITAL, FUEL STATION etc. My kids make the hospital out a laundry basket upside down and car crash scene is made out Lego. The aim is to complete the designed circuit in the shortest time. Choppers must land in the H circle for at least 2 seconds. Time each other with a stop watch and see how competitive it becomes. :-) I find that if your chopper loses balance somehow blobs of blu tac can help to re balance them. Many of ours have the screens removed with little mini bears stuck in the pilot seat to add some forward momentum. Good luck Saylors.. another great review! This sounds like an absolute blast fleet1198! We have practiced landing and taking off of certain objects as we fly competitively indoors, but haven't done anything as extensive as you. I'll tell Abby about this idea and we'll have to give it a shot for sure =^) One reason we love this hobby is that it's so family friendly, though, it doesn't have to be. You and your kids can have a lot of fun with these, unlike some children's toys. Thanks for watching friend!

Thanks a lot for the compliments NuclearMonster2, and if you've never flown a copter outside before, this is a great price point to start in. Just be sure that your first few flights are in the evening with very little wind until you become more comfortable with the controls. We're still learning everyday for sure!

Hi! I firs bought Walkera mini cp. helicopter proved difficult to manage too fast. I ordered the v911 as a training helicopter. I was amazed at how good it is for your money! on it, I learned to fly. the helicopter is very good in enclosed spaces. recommend to those who have no experience. review very well thank you.

I am moving on to 6 chanel heli now. I think you should make some videos to encourage people to become a real rc pilot instead of playing with 4 chanel toy heli. I would recommend walkera genius cp (good price and durable) or trex450 (the most popular heli). By the way I am impressed by ur wife's hobby

Ours seems to fly almost perfectly, especially while indoors. If you're flying outdoors the wind will definitely play into how it flies since it's so small. Thanks for watching ben chya!

We haven't done an actual range test, like seeing how far it will go and measuring it, but we do know that the range of this copter has never been an issue. In other words, due to the size of this helicopter, when it is close enough for your eyes to see, it still seems to have a great connection. Once it goes too far away to see, it might lose its connection, but we're not sure how far out that actually is. Hope this helps some Abelardo Molano Jr, and we thank you for watching!

I got mine for $22.35 RTF E-BAY and it is the Commander...Delivered......5-19-17******UPDATE**** Yes E-Bay stiffed me however I am getting a Pro from Bang Good and I went ahead and ordered a V 977 from them as well. Those V911-2s are great for starting. And ya see there a comment with "Bang Good" in it that does not involve E-Bays favorite past time treatment of its customers hahahahahah

Was not such a great find I got the shaft on what I wanted I still Got the V-911-2 Just not the commander that was shown. I was livid to say the least. However I was refunded $10.00 still got a good one for $12 and change. Had my inner chi set for the commander what a let down. The V 911-2 is still a good one I have ordered some parts kits fairly cheap. Less than $8.00 delivered and yes it is the kits I ordered. (Green canopy). Thanks for your videos they are AWESOME. And NO it is not Just the Abby, well mostly Abby hahahahahahah...but not all

i had one and i just want to say, dont be hard on it AT ALL, i got one and mine is screwed now, so i got a msrx instead now. its a great heli and all but brittle and durable at the same time if that makes sense. and btw, i got mine to my door, with shipping for $50. and if you break the main blades, replace BOTH blades with the extra given blades even if the one isn't broken, the pitch of the blades on the broken ones will be "broken" in so you'll need to replace both so it won't vibarate anddie

I bought the v911 pro version it has some upgrades and was like 45 bucks on amazon. On mode 2 this thing is amazing. It will turn on a dime and halls ass. I like mine trimmed forward a bit, it makes it faster. Parts are cheap. It is very durable.and will stop on a dime,if you pull back on the stick. The only thing i have broken is the fly bar. It is weak. Its the best money spent. :-):-):-)

Search upgraded flybar on bangood and it is about 3 dollars but makes a new helicopter come to life. I cannot stress how important it is to get it. For the first few batteries I was just spinning the stick around and watching this thing in amazement. Must buy full .

Nice vid, you forgot to mention one of the best features of this heli. That it self levels and that it is just so easy to fly. I have 4 of them now. It can also be bound to the Turnigy 9x radio, which gives you even more control of rates and expo.

cool review!! I did lots research and I order Hero RC H911, which practically same as V911 with , but with 2 modes the first mode makes it fly like a V911 and the second mode ( which can be changed on the fly with a button on the top left of the controller, makes the heli a lot more maneuverable) bigger servo

also, once you master this and want a faster a more capable heli, go STRAIGHT to a micro 3d heli, trust me, best you can do. i've only been flying my msrx for 10 packs and have it "mastered". still need to try some tricks, hover a bit mroe stable, and land more accurately but i can fly it in fast figure 8's and do loops.

Hi.. I would like to go for a beginner model. I am pretty much impressed with the single rotor ones compared to the coaxial ones. What is difference between the V 911 and the V911 pro version. Also I have compared this with the Syma f3. Both seems to be similar.. Which one would you recommend.?

only issue has been the fly bar weight comes loose. I just take a small bit of glue or tap on the ends and have no issues...

Hey guys nice video. I want to know if you have checked on the range of the Transmitter. How far do you think the range is before you lose connection with the helicopter. It would be nice to know. I cannot find any info on this. Let me know if you find some info on this and to add to the bit about it being almost impossible to break,I agree. Mine has been through HELL!!!

It's the music. The music is bad ass. Does the heli come w/ this soundtrack, too? If so, I'm buyin' it, that's all there is to it. Otherwise, the only redeemable quality of this video is the chick.

For me the part that I'm having an issue is charging. I know it sounds silly but I follow the directions and follow the pictures for charging the battery but every time I plug the battery into the charger. The LED light status on the charger doesn't seem to be working and I got another charger with the same results.

No the servo that makes it bank was jammed to the left as soon as I got it out of the box so I sent it back and should be getting another in about 1 week

brilliant video and clealry explained, I have just started r/c with v911 , one problem, how to use transmitter , my copter shoot of to the left on start up and I can't figure out why.,Any advice appreciated, Thanks

Try trimming it up a bit on the transmitter. Could also just be centrifugal force throwing it over a bit and you may need to counter it with the transmitter by giving it some "right" direction. Such small helis won't always be perfect. Thanks robert and hope this helps!

For me I'm having Charging issues I had to ask my dealer for a second charger to charge my batteries even after reading the manual plenty of times.

Quick question. How many channel frequencies does the transmitter have, can you fly more than one at a time?

The beautiful thing about this little copter is that it runs on 2.4Ghz which means you don't have to change the channels, and essentially you can fly with thousands of other vehicles all at the same time with little to no interference!
