What an unbelievable treat it was to be there. I remember closing down spring tour with Mikey and the boys at Oak Mt. and nobody was sure he would be at Bonnaroo. Then to see his chair and set up we know it would be epic. From Dottie Peoples to this vacation it was an experience I’ll never forget. Panic grabbed my leg many years ago and I’m real glad. Thank you WP. For everything. ❤️WP💙
That Sunday night at Oak Mt. was my first and only Mikey show. I was in 10th grade and my parents let me ride with a group of seniors from Decatur. No idea why they decided to let me go, but I'm so grateful they did
The first Bonaroo was amazing from the 14 hour party that began with the traffic jam getting into the venue. Then the really diverse lineup, bluegrass, blues, gospel and jam bands. It quickly devolved but that first year was magic.
I just remember watching 'Stop making Sense' with Keller Williams bus driver geared out of my mind on those couches and TV screen in the middle of the field...at like 3am in the morning. This show was amazing with Mr. Winwood/Bramblett and of course our beloved Mikey. Such beautiful memories.
Man ... somethin' 'bout that Mikey lingering lead. What an epic era of WSP. LOVED IT!! thanks for putting this up there - so many memories Vacation brings back from all over the country.
I was on my there and my appendix ruptured... Didn't get a chance to see Mikey after that. When ever I go to a show now I dance like it'll be my last time.
Man, oh, man. Waited 8 hours in traffic to get into Roo. It was hot, hot in the summer time. I remember it like it was yesterday. Woke up naked under my buddy’s truck after the first night. God bless you, Mikey.
Takes me back to stopping every hundred yards or so on the way down Manchester highway to get there, coming from the 'Boro we thought we'd beat the traffic on 24, haha. No real infrastructure on sight that first year. My first time getting cool at at Rutledge falls. What a time. Miss you Mikey.
I had just graduated from college a few weeks before and bought tickets with the crew. Such a beautiful experience. Everyone was so excited that Mikey was there.
Such a great song. One of the best! I don't hear new bands coming up with music this soulful these days. It's a shame that people don't have the attention span for a ballad anymore.
Hey Brown Cat, release this stuff already! I don't know what good it does sitting in y'all's warehouse getting worse for wear. A lot of us are itching for this stuff. Release the heat!
I’ve been dying for the Oak Mtn 02 run to be released. If you told me I could only listen to one set of Panic shows for the rest of my life, I would go with that run.
@@thesandboxchannel1013much appreciated my friend. Your videos are a saving grace for us old Heads, transporting us back to those magical times. Some of the best times of my life
What a treat to have this show up in my life this morning. I was fortunate to have been there live for this. I’m so grateful. Life is such a blessing. Thank you
This is amazing! Thank you thank you! I now can only wonder why this entire show isn't made available? I would pay to watch it. I was there, and it was historic. Why let it sit in a box?
Drove half way across the country for this. Sure glad I did. Only reason I went to the first bonaroo was for two nights of panic. Never went back. Never will.
