@@jenf836I traveled to London, via LAX, no problem. TSA didn’t bat an eye when I showed them. The reverse direction, would possibly be an issue, but I have no personal experience.
I plan on traveling with my Zepbound pen on my Cruise. I decided the easiest thing was to bring the used pen back home to dispose of it.. that way it’s no hassles and I can put it in my sharps container when I get back home.
YES take your shots LOST 5lbs on a back to back cruises 28 days in Europe yes I did! Most ships have mini refrigerators hotels also have them and they also have tiny ones that sit on the nightstand always call ahead Enjoy your trip keep moving
OK, I'm on Team see Laraine inject her first pen in her thigh! You'll be wearing shorts anyways, yes?! I wondered if you were going to do a pen for your travels. It is a good idea. I would have no idea how much compound was in the vial for covering two shots. It's not like you can draw it up ahead of time and put it back in the vial. Have fun on your trip!
Just used your link for the pen travel case. I don't travel much, but the power goes out occasionally, so this would be a great way to save the Rx during an extended power outage! ❤ Favorite injection site is thigh. stomach feels like it isn't as strong. I did my arm for the first time my last shot but didn't seem to be much different than stomach. I will continue to rotate all sites per Eli Lilly recommendation, but the thighs really feel more potent. Easier too.
Cd: Clarke I have switched back and forth numerous times between ZepBound, mounjaro and compounded. The hallendale compounded was a bit more liquid but not an issue. I have it from red redrock now and it’s at double strength so 7.5 units for the 15 mg dose All of them have worked the same for me.
Ill be travelling with my mounjaro from the uk to florida next year and im really nervous about it! Definitely going to get the insulin pouch from amazon i think im more worried about going through the airport with it than anything
CD: We are in the airport now and just went through security. The tsa looked at my bag and checked the insulin pouch. He said they see them all the time and that was a nice one. No problem. He didn’t even look at the meds
@thedownsized ooh thats good to know! I was just worried encase they were a bit weird about the needles, im planning on buying a mini travel sharps bin to take with me as ill be doing 2 shots on holiday
