Star Wars Theory, let me say this. This is by far the best star wars fan film I've ever seen. Understand your budget and the fact that your hands is tied with lucasfilm, but what you've accomplish makes the last Jedi looks small in comparison. Great job and I hope and pray that the next episode is better than the first. Thank you for the film.

Well, Disney manually copyrighted the entire film and placed ads to get that ad revenue. So for me they aknowledge it as cannon. Heck, was he allowed to place ads StarWarsTheory would have finished the funding for the second episode already. Even worse, the copyright claim is for a couple of notes on a background theme that are similar to the imperial march ones. That is like 8 notes that are the same, for 16 minutes of the video. Even worse, suing this would be a nightmare. A long ardous process that will not be worth the amount of money and time sunk into it.

@@Venom-gh7bn The full story is, this is supposed to be full feature cohesive story film with budget of 1mil. but for legal reasons Lucasfilm forbade him from crowdfunding and earning money on it's production. So, he is paying for it out of his own financials and thus forced to split it into episodic content. The 'pilot/opener' was shorter, less budget 100 [130k actual], but need around 250k for each following 4 parts.

Because it's good. Hell, if any the big RU-vidrs or Star Wars actors commented on it, then this film would be considered groundbreaking.

See thing is, they didn't in Rogue One and the Vader comics were epic. They know we want Vader and they seem to have people who know what their doing...but they want so bad to move away from the Skywalkers

I think the mistake that they made with the Emperor was in showing his full face. In the scenes that showed only his nose and chin, he was spot on. If they had kept all face shots muted and the upper half of his face in shadow, it would have looked much better.

A ton of people loved TLJ including me. Just because you didn't like it, don't think all those reviews were "paid for". As a movie TLJ is phenomenal...it just doesn't fit well into the new trilogy and takes liberties with the star wars mythology (which I know is a huge gripe for some people).

Open your eyes to the Disney corruption, if you don't believe it exists, you haven't seen enough of this world to understand the true power of corporate manipulation. When billions of dollars are at stake, these companies will do anything to sell their product. TLJ is garbage from start to finish.

@@L3onOfKings ALL multibillion dollar corporations are corrupt. To grow to that size and aggregate that amount of wealth, someone somewhere got screwed that didn't deserve it. But my enjoyment of TLJ has very little to do with that corruption. You see, I just genuinely liked the movie. Let me explain why: I thought TFA was horrible, recycled, fan-service garbage. My biggest fear for TLJ, following the relatively high success of TFA, was that it would go in the same direction and copy Empire, just like TFA copied A New Hope. However, to my surprise, it looked like Disney actually gave some creative control to the director and let him innovate instead of rehashing old tropes. There were some genuinely shocking moments I did not expect to see in the movie: Kylo killing Snoke, TJ betraying Finn and Rose, First Order pilots blowing the entire leadership of the resistance to the netherworld, Kylo and Rey finding solace (and maybe even friendship/love?) with each other, watching all the resistance ships be destroyed one by one and then the light speed crash scene to save them, Luke being the one who turned his back on Kylo first...I mean the list goes on. I thought the fight scene with the Praetorian Guards was beautifully done (even if the choreography left a bit to be desired), the utter destruction of resistance gave some good emotional weight to the movie, and the Canto Bight scene was definitely a cool location even if it was a little too political for my taste. I liked the whole 'Resistance and Empire are two sides of the same coin thing' they were trying to push. I even liked the final confrontation between Luke and Kylo. I thought it had a lot of memorable scenes, some outright ridiculous ones (Leia superman flying), some nonsensical but fun ones (light speed suicide crash), and some really emotional ones (Luke's death, seeing Yoda again). Is it a crime for me to like these aspects of the film? To be frank, I was kind of shocked after seeing the insane backlash. What was so bad about this movie that it deserves to be scorned on such a high level? I genuinely enjoyed these moments as it not only kept the movie from being rote and uninspired, but they also made for great entertainment. If you go into a movie with certain expectations of how the characters will turn out or how the plot will go, your missing the point of watching a movie. Don't get me wrong this movie is far from perfect. Here are the things I absolutely hated: Rey again was a Mary Sue and able to fight off the best warriors in the galaxy with minimal training from Luke, pick up 1000's of lbs of boulders with force, and be an all around badass with NO TRAINING. Leia flying in space. The "now it's worth it scene" from Canto Bight (but I enjoyed the rest of the scenes there). And that's really it... There were characters I was disappointed in (like Luke) but isn't that a natural part of life? They didn't portray him as a perfect godly being, they portrayed him as they should: a human being with faults. People are mad that Luke, Han, and Leia didn't get to be together a final time...again life doesn't always work out that way. It makes their story tragic and relatable. People HATED Rose and while I didn't particularly care for the character, I will never understand why the toxic fanbase relentlessly bullied her until she deleted all her social media accounts. What the hell did she do? Why was her character so unbelievably hated and why did that hate have to translate into real life? Is she an agent working for the big corrupt Disney Corp that's trying to brainwash all of us and you'll only stop until she hangs herself? Man I don't get it. I really don't. TLJ is sitting at close to a 90% rating with critics. Before you say Disney bought those reviews, remember there are 100s of blockbusters from HUGE companies and large franchises that regularly get SHIT on. Even Marvel movies get bad reviews time to time. It's fine if you hate TLJ, just please don't go lecturing me, or anyone else for that matter, about how naive they are to "Disney's corruption...and corporate manipulation" for liking it. I swear it was damn near the most pretentious thing I've read in a long time. Besides, just look at my profile pic. My name is Emperor Mouse with a picture of Mickey Mouse in a Darth Vader costume....You're preaching to the wrong choir here.

@@PoindexterLounge SWT explained why his hair is like that in either a livestream or a video. Its due to the fact that the agent/mother did not want the actors haircut as that would "give him less opportunity for other film roles".
