@@nyoro8628 I get it. But I also believe Nunez felt Valentinas punches & kicks. I think it's more like an insult. The worst a fighter can hear is that his/her weapons have no impact. I believe Valentina can hurt almost anybody in her gender. Make them feel pain at least if not knocking them out. Which she is getting really good at.

Valentina has it all. Striking, ground, and she has class. Unlike someone like Rhonda WAS, she's confident but not obnoxiously cocky. Plus, she's smoking hot.

Dont worry what they say she did get robbed because nunes was afraid to let her guard down on the mat and on the feet she wouldnt throw down with her because valentina is one of the most toughest women in the world and nunes knows it
@HenryDavidT I agree, Henry, but Valentina is a small 125. She could very easily compete at 115, as JJ as being doing till now. Valentina fought at 123 a couple of time in UFC, she doesn't need any weight cut. Weighing in at 124 in this fight, not 126, not even 125. To me, it's a miracle that Valentina could go toe to toe with a "natural 145" as Amanda considers herself. And Amanda walks at 155, struggling to make the 135 in her last fights at 135.
I loved how in the leadup to the chookaigan fight Katlyn was saying the same kid on thing and valentina at the press conference before was like " no offense but Ive heard this from everyone I've beaten "
Nunes, Cyborg, there are some absolutely tremendous women fighters out there... But the real question is who is the second best because Valentina holds the top spot uncontested...
Nunes is the women goat for me tbh. The way the absolutely demolishes anyone they put in front of her (besides Valentina haha) is absolutely amazing. Knocked out Cris Cyborg in the first minute or so, absolutely merked Rouses, head kick KO'd Holm and the rest were only sacrificial lambs. The UFC just has to do the trilogy fight Nunes/Shevchenko but they won't, cause they don't wanna risk losing a "superstar" by matching them up against each other
I'm a valentina fan. Have have fallowed her career for a long while. I use to think valentina beat Nunes but after rewatching both fights, yeah it's all Amanda. Yes valentina did land some punches and some take downs, but as much as i don't want to admit it Nunes did win both fights!
@CeCesweetheart It's not easy fighting a bigger opponent like nunez. It's easy to balloon back up after weigh in. It's not easy to balloon up when you're already close to your walk around weight. If she fought timid it's because she had to keep it technical & stick to her strengths (speed & mobility). One wrong move is game over. I would assume Amanda was a little heavier the night of this fight.
I flew to Chicago and watched this fight in person, it's crazy to see her in action, she is the best female fighter ever one of the best fighters. Boy or girl. I thought Jessica was dead she didn't move for like a whole minute and a half
I think that Nunes is right in this regard. Valentina is really good at hitting face shots, but I don't think I can name any fight where any of her punches actually staggered someone. Compared to Nunes, who has clearly messed up the likes of Rhonda and Cyborg with her head punches, Valentina doesn't seem to have the same power and most of her fights go to decision. If she did, she'd be unstoppable, but I think that she sacrifices her power for her speed.
@@claydogmadman6295 I think she was more impressive in that fight than Nunes, and if I had to go back and count significant strikes, she may very well have had more. There shouldn't be any need to impress judges by anything other than aggression, and Bullet's aggressive.
@@t.b.player7102 people saying Amanda is a better fighter because she won their fights seem to forget the natural size difference between the two. You'd expect Amanda to win them given her clear size and strength advantage, and even then Valentina made it tremendously tough for Amanda, both fights especially the second one was very close.
She's the complete package. Striker, ground fighter, and, she's a class act. Not too obnoxiously cocky, not too laid back. Plus, she's extremely easy on the eyes.
