That's an interesting definition of a Focaccia. Personally I'd define this recipe as a Flatbread, and I generally define a Focaccia as a bread shaped, risen, and baked in a pan without cheese...but maybe I'm wrong ✌️
in italy they have their own lingo for things. pizza originated as focaccia (a flatbread sort of pizza baked with some oil/lard and some salt). later on they started to add toppings.
