For real though, idk what Irongate was thinkin when they made a: ranged, aoe, control (kinda) and massive dps weapon 💀all that to pair with staff of protection 💀

are people switching over to magic though? i see people comfortable with what they've been doing and it still works so they stay with it. Im glad there are many options this time though. I felt like i kept "guiding" my group into weapons and armor to give us the best game play but this zone....have at it and see what happens lol

Staff of protection is arguably the strongest item in the game, and staff of embers is right next to it yea, both are very strong and good options. I prefer full eitr set with two eitr food and 1 stamina food. Some people run fenris hood + eitr robe + eitr pants which is also a good option if you want to be a little more speedy at the cost of less eitr regen. Underrated part of the staff of embers is it doesn't have an aggro radius, which means you can pull one enemy at a time, which is VERY useful when you're just learning the biome and/or on the higher difficulty tiers.
