100%! Those bugs can hit real hard. No way I'm going in there without my Conan the Bavarian button! Oh, and warm capes count as frost resistance unless wet, if I remember my fight with Moder correctly. Should help against the frost mages if we do our "business negotiations" on dry days.

Does Bonemass stack with Fenris fire resist tho? Cuz the fire resist potions don't.

@@UrielSepsis Every cape past wolf has the same effect. I'm not sure that it's the same "frost" resistance as it is cold weather.

@@fortheloveofking After playing a bit again, I remember now. Saw it in a video and tested it a out about year ago and frost resist potion didn't give any discernible additional protection against ice wyrm attacks and Moder's breath when wearing the cape. We left our potions in camp when going into the mountains and used them only for death runs. Bonemass gives physical protection and should not interfere with fire resi. I guess you mean Yagluth (protection from magic). I don't know, didn't test it yet. One more thing on my list, I guess. ^^

They personally remind me of the Netch from Morrowind.

Yeah I know. They start these videos with the best gear but the problem is you only have Padded going in. I thought the Ggall was the easiest so far. Killed 4 of them already that spawn in right near my plains outpost. But the other giant bugs, especially the ones with a star. I've walked in with over 200 health take 2 hits and I'm dead. I think these guy's use Devcommands to unlock everything before they go in and I like playing the game with out it. He said have the best gear before you even go in? So is that Padded? His videos are good but I'm trying to just find out what to do first going in with Padded. I did unlock a few new weapons, 2 spears and the two knives at the same time? which unfortunately my stats for them are 0 because I never used them lol. Guess ima try them because I'm getting wrecked now? The Mistlands seem like alot of work.

I suspect they're in same places as before the update. That is mixed in with other biomes but further away from center and closer towards the edge of the world.

While it's tempting to go for the black forge first, it's best to use your first few cores on the eitr refinery. Most things that require the forge also require refined eitr. I made this mistake, don't be like me.

Right now, if you just want to get on the public testing. If you want a more “stable” version, then there is no date because the purpose of the testing is to work out most of the flaws. It can’t be released until they are patched mostly. That could take another week or potentially a month. Most likely it’ll be about two more weeks or less
