In these last episodes, Hafsa saw reality. She saw that Hurrem was right all along and she saw how big of a snake Ibrahim was. Had she recovered, she would have definitely had Ibrahim executed.
But think that she didn't think at all her daughter, because if Ibrahim would be executed, she would be devastaded and she would blame her mother for a lifetime. How she forgot so easily her daughter's happiness? Her happiness was Ibrahim. After all, if Ibrahim wasn't Hatice's happiness, then why they got married? And even if she wanted to do it, her heart didn't let her to say that Ibrahim had relationship with Nigar, because in her heart, she knew that she didn't do the right thing for her daughter, by telling the truth about Ibrahim at Syleiman. Firstly, because this matter would have only one interested person above this matter and this was Hurrem, who wanted to get rid of Ibrahim, so Valide through her hatred about Ibrahim, forgot that she was at Ibrahim's side to defeat her. After all, she knew that even if she understood that Hurrem was right about Ibrahim, that doesn't means that Valide would be out of Hurrem's list of targets, who wanted to get rid of them one by one. So she should understand that she was in danger and should make an ally with Ibrahim, Hatice, Mahidevran and Mustafa, in order to protect themselves and their empire, because maybe Hurrem became a Sultana, by giving birth to 4 sons and one Sultana, but the empire was Valide's, Hatice's and Syleiman's and Ibrahim was the main representator of Syleiman. That's why they should cooperate, in order to get rid of Hurrem, who was the danger of their dynasty. Now I understand and see that Mahidevran was right about Hurrem, all her feelings about her was real. But this reality didn't pass through Valide's mind, neither though Syleiman's, nor Ibrahim's or Mustafa's. She was telling the truth, all were true, but they prefered to close their eyes and ears to this truth. Because the truth hurts always and all of us are obliged to open our eyes, get used to it and find a way to fight with it, in order to solve the problems of everyday life.
It’s interesting to note that Sultan Suleiman created Valide Sultana title for Hafsa and Haseki Sultana title for Hurrem. Before them all women from Sultan’s family or harrem were called Valide, Hatun or Baş Kadın.

Very interesting to see the past of the Valide ( I really want to see the past of Gulfem, Mahidevran, Gul Aga and Nigar but it is not essential to the series either) . It's an interesting parallel when we know the rest of the story. And poor Nigar, used by everyone... She deserve better even if she make some mistake she is not the most guilty in this. After all she's been through because of a lot of people in MC I don't blame her to be backstabber.
