Great to see everyone is testing about the same. I had the same issue with the detents and Riot Balls. Those little buggers are slippery. Problem with the light balls is they are moving so fast they leave the barrel before taking full advantage of the air pressure behind. The heavies allow more compression. 😎👍🏼
@@chicagolesslethalevery video i did except the first instance of ball drop was with Wixon detents. They work flawlessly. The HD24 detents seem to work well with sticky balls and shaped projectiles.
Great test. Think of throwing a ping pong ball versus a golf ball. Initial high velocity for the ping-pong ball, but, it dies a few feet from your hand. The muzzle velocity joules will be the same as the heavier projectile , but not at impact. Yeah, hitting someone with 70-100 joules and you will be prosecuted, under the accusation that your deliberately took a less lethal device and modified it to be lethal. Great job, as always.
thanks man ya i shot so many things and im certain 100 joules is lethal, clean through 1 and a half inch of plywood like butter lol 95 joules is a 22 cal short rd but these heavy rds will do some serious damage real fast even 60 joules can damage bone quite easy, many dont understand, if i didnt have all the clothing on then 38 joules would done more damage to my back rib now i cant imagine 70 or 100
its kindove ironic you come up with 50 / 60 joules as the sweet spot for self defense as the subsonic .22 short was invented something like 100ish years ago outputs 60 joules and was also developed for self defense (also used alot in gallery guns).
I read in the product description these are fully auto..and i can get with sezzle i think this will be my other marker after im done modding my tr50 i want this one for the full auto / its already a rifle and id rather keep my tr50 more handgunish (sans the hpa tank attached for the free air and 1100psi as i use a hand pump)
