Protect the Centurion by taking out paratroopers and bombs. Send snipers up to higher ground for a clear shot. Ship orders are unavailable, and the operation will fail if the Centurion is hit by at least 3 incoming bombs.
If You've got R1 sniper rifles us them. Keep in mind Lancers/Snipers use ammo in team attacks so don't sit them next to each other.

Man, I thought I was missing something when I first did this mission -- I wasn't able to hit any of the parachuting stuff at all. It turned out the 3-round sniper guns don't have enough range to hit those things. Switching to standard sniper guns fixed the issue.

Finally, the trick was giving Raz the empire gun and make him overhaul, as well as using Hafen’s smoke ability. Been pulling my hair with these 2 Bosses dodging everything

Fun fact: You can kill them head on with a Shock Trooper without the Smoke Screen on the 1st turn.

Excellent work. Also an easy way to promote up a sniper with all the excess cp in phase 4. Aladdin, Leonhardt, and Neige (all 3 being snipers) have a squad story together this was useful for.

Well pretty sure my game was bugged or something. I could not aim at the parabomb above the bottom right camp. Like it was literally not visible on the map, i couldn't cycle targets to find it and never saw any targeting indicator go off by just moving the crosshair. I was all set to complete the mission at turn 4 but it was not targetable from any angle. Absolutely infuriating. Just had to see if it was possible...

You don't need smoke screen as long as you "surprise attack" from behind and shoot at the head.

man i guess i should use imperial weapons. the E rank aim deterred me from it. but i guess i should use them more. it seems Imperail weapons are all E Rank aim and high damage

I think it also might make the enemy AI turn to the other direction, where you don't have a tank to make a smokescreen. I guess this strategy is pretty effective. I'm having trouble dealing with them with just scouts and support.

Weapons that use ammo and grenades replenish one per turn. They will fully replenish if in a base camp.

How do you have such good tank control? I can’t get that far in 1 CP with my tank. Is it because you’re on PC and I’m on console? Or am I just shit

As long as you can smoke the Grenadier you'll be fine. I use 2CP. One to move forward to smoke and the second to block the AI doing silly thing like attack my base.

Most missions in this game are great, buuut every once in a while they flip you off and grab their crotch. Last turn I had both the mini sadists go up to kai, blast here in the face then one trooper show up to shoot her guard team in the face. I figure if they arent playing fair neither will i.

yeah, it totally is. I think maybe you can use a mouse on PS4, but im sure this is PC. Looks amazing. The animation is also more fluid than my PS4 version.

@@frydemwingz Most games on PC usually are but it depends on how good the port is really. You got amazing PC ports like this one and then you got something like Dark Souls which is infamous for having shit mouse and keyboard controls most people just use a controller).

On the command screen where you pick which person to move, put your mouse over Minerva, press F, then choose Command. Only leaders can do this.

Ok, just for the record, I play on ps4, which might have something to do with the problems I'm dealing with, but that 1st smokescreen is incredibly finicky. I had to use the damn navy decal to guarantee that the smoke actually blinds the grenadier since for some reason 10 AP is the difference between blinding the grenadier and wasting a command point, even though 10 AP is about the amount you'll waste if you fumble vaulting over sandbags. Also, this mission gives me VC1 vibes with how strict the requirements are to A rank it, it's like, oh, you couldn't destroy a bomb because it was behind a gigantic icicle that you couldn't maneuver around in time? Here's this B rank instead, loser.
