I wonder who's more sick after seeing this chapter the Federation hunting down Valkyria lolis for making a bomb or the Empire researching the Valkyria to make super soldiers
I'm not saying this justifies the whole turning kids into living batteries/bombs, but logically it kinda makes sense. I mean the technique to turn kids into super batteries is a pretty big deal, and it'll just make things worse if that technique is stolen and used against them, so exploding those secrets while taking out as many enemies as possible is pretty efficient. Again, this isn't meant to justify the things they did, but I'm just pointing out that at a logical standpoint, it DOES have its merits, even if it's morally wrong. Also while the Federation created the children bombs, it's pretty obvious that the Empire would probably have done the same thing, if not worse, if they had the knowhow.
The Federation was wrong for making use of that technology, but at the end of the day, it was Angie's desire to end the war, no matter the cost. Claude is in the right for going to the last consequences, as a last resort. The Empire had to be stopped. After all, it was the Empire that started hostilities, so they have only themselves to blame for their capital almost getting nuked. Fortunately, they had the decency of signing a cease fire, thus making the use of the A2 bomb to be uneeded.
So Leena is now all alone... and she lost her brother knowing he's not only a shitty hypocrite, but a complete psycho who's obsessed with one little girl who made it clear to him that she didn't need his help, and was there by choice. Yeah, somebody give her a hug.
That's some insane power for chiara and nikola with them crossbows, can pierce an armored tank and has explosive bolts!? These chicks ain't playing around lol
There're two theories I'd like to share: One: they're descendant of Sid Meier's Spearman, whose rise to fame was Battle of Civilization 1 where he repeatedly repelled wave after waves of foreign invader's M1 Abram Main Battle Tanks and Iowa class Battleships without a scratch while armed with only bronze age spear and armor. Or two: they're using Stalinium-tipped crossbow. Remember that Empire in this game is a fusion of Soviet stronk and Tsar Russia. Seriously, look at their tanks, they're T-34/85!
man talk about a chapter with no breaks, just a lot of emotion in this chapter and man i thought Minerva was slightly crazy after what happen...but i didn't think she go and do that. Hopefully this'll all pay off.
A pretty somber chapter to follow up the last one, but that final scene really marks a hopeful change. Hope the remaining characters can live out the rest of the story.
Wow, the Centurion busted into the Empire's capital just like the Marmotta busted into the Gallian capital in the first game! Also, the theme that starts at 1:12:22 isn't actually a re-arrangement of the Final Battle theme from VC1?
weren't they worried about running into rocks in the forest last chapter? and here they are breaking through stone walls and stuff =P rip Riley, 2nd mortar KO yeesh Kai's not gonna have an easy life after this. and I was thinking she might've had it even worse if she was the only survivor of the gang ...Minerva... =\
I said the same thing when i saw it afraid of bolders destroys a stone gate and road guess it cause they cant sink anymore plus at that point the bomb is where it needs to be
@@neobahumuth6 did some testing and it was weird. chiara only went under that arch with the second tank again. but only if reily was close to it. the enemy turn played like this. chiara order (anti tank) she then moved to our camp threw a grenade a reily stunning her, ended her turn. chiara again shot rolan weak spot killing him then ran under the arch.
