Valkyria Chronicles - Chapter 16: - Rank A Strategy 

Just use Alicia instead of Susie, she will fall but retreat instead of letting her die. And for the turns she is idle she will grant an extra Crest to the tank, which will build up after 2 turns allowing an extra movement.

I used this strategy with some changes so none of my soldiers could die, and what I exactly did was: turn 1: I oneshoted the shocktroper with the improved shrapnel and saved the game before ending my turn in case the lancer would hit me too hard I would reload to get better chances. Unlike in the video my scout wouldn't kill the two guys.

I used Rosie, Largo, and Alicia, but Alicia went with Welkin through the canyon, the extra comand characters gave me a small boost in the begining

cont : Turn 3: I saved the game before using any CP, I went out the mining field and I shoted at the lancer at the end of the field, if you don't hit him, reload and try again until you hit, then save the game, advance again and take a second shot on the same lancer, if you don't land the second hit in order to kill him, reload until you do. after killing him end your turn and use the order retreat on Susy or whatever scout you used instead the rest of the turns, proceed as the rest of the video

God I hate that part, I know they tell you at the start that if it runs you over you can't do anything about it but I mean it hardly seens fair that it;s automatic death if it even gets near you.

You should,ve prolly used alicia instead of susie. That way you get a extra AP and even if she does die see would just retreat instead of being completly gone.

Just did this and figured I could move my scout to the rocks that fell since the tank wouldn't go that way because I didn't want any squad members to die but she died anyway Cherry ;_;7 Then I thought if I just used Alicia wouldn't she have retreated like Zaka? I sure as hell didn't want to do it again because of the unskippable cut scenes though.

Cont Turn 2: I killed the lancer, went forward, killed the barricade went trough the mined field, and shot the second barricade with a regular bullet, and advanced as much as I could.

Hey, how do you increase the distance that is covered by the Edelweiss?

to prevent for example susie dying let her die on the way of your tank that way you'll pick her up when progressing throigh the lv further
