Definitely not one of my most anticipated heroes but I didn’t think I’d enjoy Drax as much as I do, either. Looking forward to the playthrough!

@Jack A Drax is a character I need to get back to the table, but I think both Drax and Valkyrie will shine best in a team-up. :)

I’ve not been able to make Valkyrie work, even in Justice. I just don’t get how to play the Death Glow mechanic well. I look forward to your first playthrough and hear what you think.

@Giorgio I think it's a neat mechanic, but depending on the villain, if minions don't come out (especially in true solo), most of her kit isn't going to trigger. So can be tough for sure. Good luck!

Great unboxing as usual. I have had Valkyrie 2 weeks and she’s great. Death Glow is an interesting card and mechanic. Maybe a sign of things to come. Enjoy using her. I’m looking forward to seeing your deck for her.

@Ragnot Greymane She is a tough one to plan for as her kit is built for having minions, and in the event of a low minion game, then the aspect cards will be almost all she has. I only have two plays with her so far, so more plays will be needed. :)

Her nemesis is exceptionally brutal. You cant attack until you discard seduced, for which you have to defeat the scheme first, and her only thwart requires attacking.

@RJL 518 She can pack a punch, but I see her wanting to team-up with someone more consistent with removing threat. :)

For solo play, I'd go Justice, but I'm sure Leadership would work to ... or go full aggression, and hope a rush strategy will work. :)

@Stewart King Hope you enjoy your first play ... I went back to the basics, with Rhino for my first play. Nothing like playing solo and only having one main scheme with a character that is weak at thwarting. :)

@Jonathan Martin Seems like different parts of the world are on different release dates. Makes it a bit confusing for stores and players for sure!

My copy arrived yesterday. . Not too familiar with this Avenger but always enjoyable to see your take on the new decks. Look forward to playing her. Not too impressed with some of the card artwork. Looks bit too cartoony and infantile. Other artwork is lovely - so the 2 styles clash a bit for me.

@Werdna I can only guess there wasn't much in the archives for this character for art. Definitely a bit inconsistent with all the other sets.

It would appear if you can get her tempo going she is very effective. Otherwise it’s going to be a struggle. Let’s hope it portends more Asgardians in the future. Some nice cards for an aggression deck builder. 2’ of snow and the internet goes down. What doesn’t go down is this here giant pile of MC cards. Worked thru Spectrum and on to Vision.

I think she is my least favourite hero so far. Only played her 4-5 times.

I spent too much time thinking about the pronunciation of Valkyrior and landed on Val-key-re-or. I can't believe you pronounced it the way you did, very disappointed. I'm unfollowing you now.
