All valuations were correct at the time of broadcast. These golden sculptures were made between 1811 and 1813 by goldsmith Paul Storr, who is regarded as one of the finest British goldsmiths ever. It's no wonder these are so valuable! Hugh Scully and the experts from Antiques Roadshow take a look at some fantastic antiques and the history and stories surrounding them. This clip was filmed in Salisbury in 1991.
Welcome to the home of Antiques Roadshow on RU-vid. Here you'll find all the best clips from Britain’s most popular antiques appraisal show. From items that have been handed down the generations to those picked up in junk shops, discover their history and delight in the possibility that it could in fact be a priceless treasure.

One of the greatest moments in Antiques Roadshow history, next to the Crawley Silver.

Roughly 116,000 pounds in today's money, or $144,000. These were worth roughly two to three years salary for most people around 1990. Incredible. Surely, they must be worth at least $100,000 today.
