I have 2 older siblings a brother and a sister my sister has dated boys before she met her husband she broke up with her boyfriends because they didn't give me the time of day but one day she met someone and started dating him then she introduced me to him and he accepted me dispite my learning disabilities and one day she asked me if I liked him at first I thought she was joking because she never asked me for my opinion but she said that my opinion mattered the most to her so I told her I liked him and she married him and she is so happy

This is helpful especially if you have very difficult family members, who honestly go out of their way to hurt and torment or embarrass you. Patience makes and faith in Allah, inshallah, is key and will help you from falling off completely, and if you have fallen off, it will help you get back up and try to be better than them.

What about toxic siblings? Siblings that mentally abuse you? Whats the best way to deal with this? If parents have made certain siblings to feel superior which then results in years of bullying and mental abuse and affects your life in a negative way.

I’m the biggest sister and we are three, and the middle sister provokes me a lot and since I’m the biggest I get the blâmes 😓 and especially today I was screaming because of her, since I got up this morning, since yesterday I wasn’t myself, normally I’m calm, but everyone started to provoke me or upsetting me, so I had enough 😞. And hamdulila on the week I go to school for a long day. And every Saturdays I feel like I want to 😭 cry.

misa ROSE May Allah make it easy for you and us all, ameen. Don’t worry Alalh sees our tears. Do lots of dua for yourself when you feel down as thats a good time to pour your heart out to Allah. Allah will give you strength and make it easy for you. With every hardship there comes ease, as Allah has promised us and we just need to have tawakkal. Lifes tests us in many different ways, and I find peace when I make time for Allah, it’s the only thing that will help us through challenging times. I pray your sister respects you and has lots of love and care for you in her heart and doesn’t make you cry, insha’Allah, ameen. Keep your chin up Allah will help you insha’Allah :)

What do you do if you are a grown womana and younger brother hits and abuses you because his anger is misdirected and your mother still pampers him and tells you to get over it?How do you get over it when there is no apology?Even if it was a one time incident? And you catch your family talk smack about you behind your back and you cant do anything>No one acknowledges your sacrifices and treats you poorly? How do you maintain good relations with such a family where your are being abused in this manner but cant turn to anyone because you are ganged up on and used as a scapegoat for everything going wrong in everyone else's life?

My brother likes whatever his wife wears. Since we live together in the same house, I feel uncomfortable with what she wears in front of other males at home. He doesn’t like anyone to say anything about his wife, not even indirectly. However, he won’t let me live alone. It feels like I can’t even speak, because if I do, I am disrespecting him. Recently I said something, I apologize, but he still doesn’t talk to me, and I don’t think it was my mistake. I said what anyone would say, and even people outside would say the same. In this situation, as we don’t talk to each other, will my dua (prayer) be accepted?

Shaikh Shabnam I think you should still treat them the same as your real brothers and sisters. My uncle is my mothers step brother but I didn’t know that for the longest time because there is no difference between how my mum treats her “real” siblings and him which I think is beautiful.

It’s hard when you have the worst sister ever as, she is hates me she is cruel even though am nice to her she destroys things my parents say she has ‘anger issues’ but who know? I dk am gonna ignore her I will try my best to be nice to her while hiding my face of tears as she is 2 year younger! Can you believe some peoples little sisters respect their sister but in this case I am the slave...I am the one who needs to be nice am the one who needs to be the one who need to help her and act like she’s the best! tell your parents and that you and them need to sit down and talk with your sister, you guys need to know what is wrong with her, since there are mental disorders and your parents should check up on your sister and ask her whats bothering her and things like that and go show her to a doctor or a therapist and get medications if possible, if too late than its a risk for her mental health and physical health,may allah protect your sister but you should tell your parents!

Not in any way, she is no more than a non-mahram(stranger) to u.Stand up for urself and you may warn her that if she puts some shit like that again ,the matter will be taken to her parents about her iblis arrogance and falsehood.Make her apologise you or if she denies, promise her that if she comes any where near disrespecting you, she would get some great thunderbolt of words in her ears that she will never forget.

He is doing a good thing. It is not permissible for your brother to talk to your wife. All he can talk is "like you talk with your boss".
