Mike, have you ever adjusted Valve Timing on a Willys Go Devil L134? As in advancing the cam gear one tooth or 4 degrees? What it does is, Instead of your intake valve Closing at BDC your intake valve will be Closed at BDC and increasing performance. But you also have to burn a higher octane fuel. My father used to advance the valve timing on his big block V8s, I'm just wondering if anyone has done this on a 4 banger!
Doing ok, waiting on CAT scan results and trying to get my hand fixed. BTW there is a nest trick to check/ remove that valve spring w/o removing the head. ( keeps the valve from dropping down. )
