Some people pull those half moons on each side out and rtv around them (after cleaning both surfaces of course)and also the hard plastic plug on the drivers side rear that you have to take the 2 extra bolts out (mine leaked there before and had to replace it )i liked the way you torqued the 4 bolts down at the end i think most people undertighten them leading to more leaks and also really liked the spark tube removal part you did (mine has oil in that #4 tube as well gonna have to try that (might even do all 4 while im at it for future proofing)Great video!
Great Video, Thank you so much for the details, know I want a do it to my 01 Camry with 250K miles and running like new, just a little oil leak on the front but probably more in the back like you said.
Awesome. I’m gonna be tackling this project soon. Also have to do a spark plug swap out so I’m thinking I can do both at the same time since I’ll have to remove the coil packs anyways. Is there any risk to installing the spark plugs while the valve cover is off? I plan on taking the cover off and cleaning it and do the spark plugs while it’s drying.
It will, for sure. Check your dipstick with cold engine few days back. If you see whitish emulsion, even small amount, (I bet you will see), it is a sign that engine oil is mixed with water/break cleaner components.
Exactly, he's saving a lot of money doing it himself, he can do an oil change for $35.00 and in less than 25 min if he doing himself too.@@christafarion9
