Love the "viva variety" of the show sometimes we have announcers sometimes players announce and sometimes live even! I think you found the formula! Keep it up and thanks for the entertainment!
fun game :) also yes get teferi's pro OUT of here lol love the planar championship series btw, it's super fun to see theme decks from these planes face off
From the title I knew Shea would win 🏆 ✨ 😉 😌 🙂 😄 🏆. Ben almost had it though. I am fully with Blake in regards to creatures as I have myself a modern werewolf deck of the same colors.
Nice work with the teleprompter. It'll be better if you can move the camera farther back. That will cause your eye levels to be closer to looking directly at the camera because you'll have the camera and the prompter in your field of vision. Not sure if you have the space but 20ft or so from the talent would work great
Great video as always!!! One genuine question to ben: Why did you choose not to Nantuko the greenwarden instead of the Deathrite? that would have started to net you mana because of all the treasures and I feel like you could have found a way to win the game right on that turn ?
I think that since he's not used to playing Landfall, he completely missed that trigger. Cause I have done the Ancient Nantuko combo and it gets disgusting fast. Honestly the hardest part of it is knowing when to stop before you have more triggers than you can manage.
Ben not Springhearting the Provisioner to make all the treasure and foods he wants is the most insane thing I've ever seen on this channel. And then grabbing swamps back to play again instead of the fetch land is just... wow. It's not even hindsight, the dude just chose the second worst option to enchant - the only thing worse would have been his commander. Literally everything else was superior by far. Absolutely insane, and not in a good way.
I always wanted to try out Tovolar as a commander, but the first and only time someone brought a Celestus in our group, we decided to eliminated him first because Day/Night is the worst mechanic ever and we couldn't be bothered to track it.
Feels like a weird choice to make copies of Deathrite Shaman when there was so much power on the board and so much (tramply) combat happening. Pretty sure Ben woulda won if he just made a bunch of 5/5 bodies.
@pbbppbbp this suggestion is because CGB plays Brawl from time to time. Seems only natural that an idea of WPCS would be a game of commander using cards only legal in Brawl.
Yeah that was strange. Maybe just thought it would be cool to drain the table with all the deathrites or didn’t want to think about the escalating triggers lol.
havent watched 1 min of the game..... either CGB wins with combo or markov just wins with PURE SENERGY, like dude, play a vamp get a vaamp.... tovolar is my favorite deck, i own a tovolar deck, but i dont use triumph as a win con or even in any deck....but im sure MARKOV as got this unless u just suck at deck building but didnt she hit for 100 dmg last time...yeah......
We look at timestamps for that. If Spelunking were to be already on battlefield when Thalia enters, then Spelunking's ability is nullified because spelunking's timestamp is replaced with Thalia's. It is true for the opposite, with Spelunking overriding Thalia if it enters after. If you were to have Amulet of Vigor, however, Thalia's ability would not have any effective impact on your board because since Thalia taps them, Amulet untaps them as they enter, because a triggered ability overrides a static one. (I say just Thalia because that ability is specific to Thalia, Heretic Cathar, which appeared in Eldritch Moon alongside The Gitrog Monster)
