I’m proud to admit this is one of the few games I genuinely want to do three runs on, one monster, one pacifist, and one standard one where I’m not trying to fit into one block or the other.
I did exactly that, but ended up being "evil" I killed that fucking "flame crusade" priest,I just had to,wet boot boys leaders, seymour, rakesh, pipa and that bitch who's been abusing her daughter
First time, I'd call it the "neutral route" Because I killed only 5 citizens, one being Sean Hampton(only because I couldn't save him.) I also turned Swansea. 2nd time "no-feed route" I got the best ending possible, but this time, I let Swansea die from his wounds. I decided to stop there, didn't want a happy ending to be tarnished by a third playthrough, which would have been a "project:Genocide"
@@gaunterodimmmastermirrors72exact same feeling I feel after completing the exact same thing as you, I think ima js stop here being with my neutral ending and pacisfist ending 😂
I chose to turn him because despite that he betrayed us, he still was a very valuable asset through the game, and I don't see him as the bad guy I just couldn't let him die
@Blackfalk He still your child! One is having an identity crisis, the other has extreme murderous daddy issues and the last one is a madman crazed given flesh...Parenthood ain't easy for a single father...
Yeah this guy should be more discrete, I just bought the game and I already knew my sister was alive and she was a vampire and somebody I had to kill. And I was only watching some gameplay and this was popular on the featured list, it pissed me off not going to lie.
Turning him will. But it will also keep you up at night. A vampire mad scientist on the loose... At least McCullum will take care of him sooner or later.
Late replay but Edgar case is entirely depend on your what’s righteous to myself to define rather than game’s Guide to get best ending I recently played this and let Edgar become vampire and to me it’s best choice since he helped rescued sheltered me so I returned favour
Murdering in cold blood poor little orphans and nice old grandmas... slaughtering adorable kittens and puppies... stealing candy from little kids... stuff like that.
This is the WORST GAME EVER MADE!!! Period! You play a vampire that get tired after running 10 yards, the combat isn’t combat, not sure what it is, but it’s HORRIBLE!! They should be ashamed of making this crap!!!
You must not have played long because I can run up to a mile or more depending....just take your time and play through the story..do some side quests and upgrade Jonathan.
I have to say, I didn’t really feel betrayed by this at all. He opened up about this train of thought already when he proposed to use Jonathan‘s blood in order to experiment for a cure. It’s not completely foolhardy and from a scientific point of view very promising. It wasn’t ethical or smart to use it without consent, but I got the impression the game wanted me to feel angry when there was no proper reason for me to do so.
Hey I know like 2 vampires in close vicinity of the hospital one of which let's me know who she kills. I bet the other guy is the one responsible for the rest of the murders. It's kind of obvious
yeah I also thought reid's maker will be someone u know, maybe even the william marshal and not SPOILER: some fucking blood demigod that was fucked up,but I made Mcculum vampire and he is kinda epic plus as he said "I could be the best vampire hunter to live" that was epic,he is the real van helsing of vampyr but still I must say I know swansea fucked up with reid but still could not kill him, that was ironic, ascalon club wanted to make dawson my progeny and I fucked them to hell and then make two random progenies, that was nice..:D:D
I always feel bad for Edgar because if only the poor fool had used Johnathan’s blood instead of Elizabeth’s... Then probably nothing bad would've happened. hell, it most likely would've gone *exactly* as Swansea had predicted it would considering that he had plenty of knowledge in both ekons and the medic field (obviously) the only missing variable was the blood of hate.
@@FreelancerStellar pretty much. I'm just saying Jonathan for lack of any other vampire, but my point is that it had to be the poor idiot’s luck that the one vampire who's blood he took that was infected with a dormant disease. It sure as hell wasn't a great choice anyway, but regular vampire blood probably wouldn't have caused an epidemic, is what I'm trying to say.
It still would've caused the "Vampire Epidemic", but people would just turn into normal Skals instead of frenzied ones. Not sure if the Morrigan would've woken up, though.
Jonathan blood doesn’t turn people into skals it turns them into powerful Ekons. Look at Mary and Mcollum for example. Jonathan blood is pure seeing he was bitten by blood Mydrrin the god. He has blood and shadow techniques the other Ekons you fight can’t do that.
(SPOILER) Turning Sean: Ahem, I rather not, it would be extremely awkard Turning Geoffrey: NO NOOO NOOOOOOOO Turning Edgar: YESSS YEEESS OMG THANK YOU AHHHH I WAS EXPECTING IT SINCE FOREVER AHH I'M SO HAPPY THANK YOU SENPAI FINALLY NOTICES MEEE
@@daniloperisic6119 you mean he deserves the torture of turning into one of the beings he hates with his whole soul? Or you truly think he deserves eternity? What if he turns mad as most idiots after getting immortality and kills withot mercy with the excuse "you are responsible for this shit"?? Because he would be right. Its stupid and irresponsible. The best choice is to let mccullum see you are better than him sparing his life. He still wants to kill you? You are the son of the ancient one. For just some days but.. let the puny mortal try.
To be honest, this game makes me feel bad for almost every person that I embrace, since after you embraced them, they will say something sad like "I was never loved" etc. which in turn makes me feel guilty.
Aye m8, I was hoping for *Vampyr* to be filtered just like Mad Max, Prototype or Assassins Creed something like that. Not some sad ass depressing jest of play... 🙁
The dialog and choices really do matter in this game because I thought it didn't until I killed someone's son then later an event popped up and the father was a hunter and wanted revenge.
I killed Aloysius... resulting in the death of all the inhabitanta in his district... including Elizabeth's daughter, Charlotte... She did not once talked about it... as if nothing happened...
@@alexgaming9101 U can charm him to accept his death. That way he will donate all his money to the poor, and every citizen will heal making districts get better
The good choice is to turn him and than come back later to regret about it. :) If you also spared McCullum at least you know that he will take care of him sooner or later.
@@tipoenbolsadebasura7285 really late to answer, but I suggest following a walkthrough... I'm at this predicament rn, and I still haven't gotten a clear answer
@@tipoenbolsadebasura7285 I just finished it today and I think I got a good ending. I didn't kill anyone with my own hands, but 3 pillars did die on my run...
Let Die: RIP Doctor Swansea. I promise your carpet will always be cleaned x3 Embrace: Thank you for donating your blood to my cause, doctor. Turn: You will now be more able to help out pembr- Oh wait.......I destroyed the hospital xD
if edgard dies and the hospital loses his pillar. everyone in the hospital will die/disapear after u go to sleep then!!!!!! noooooooooooooooooooooooo so much wasted EP
I couldn't. I just couldn't let him die or embrace him. I like him from the beginning. He was clumsy and unethical in what he did, he clearly messed up with things he had no idea of, but he was desperately trying to find a cure for the influenza. I don't blame him so I just had to turn him. After all, he also gave Jonathan a chance when everyone was hunting him down, well knowing what he was, covered in blood as he was and as dangerous as a newborn vampire unaware of his new power. So yeah, I have a soft spot for Edgar. If I play a second round, I'll turn him again.
He starts feeding on people plus he’s gonna become a mad scientist who won’t stop experimenting. And he’s planning on killing Usher Talltree to become the new primate.
I'm level 19 at this point and I have around 15k unused exp.... Also I am doing a 0 kill run(playing on switch)... And then i saw ur level and I was like oh lord, rip all the good souls 😂
Good intentions or not Edgar was an idiot for using vampire blood. When I heard this I was so pissed. Aside from the fact that what he did was unethical, he had the nerve to speak down to Reid because he was a vampire. Especially when Reid was just looking for answers.
I know turning him into a vampyr is not the best choice but as soon as I saw him I just knew I would do everything for him. C'mon Edgar, eat all Pembroke if you like, I'm happy if you are happy
Dude, We all know what going to happen if we chose turn him into a vampire or kill him, but the consequences , that what we are here for don't but those up where we all can see whats going to be the answer, i want to see what going to be the difference
People if you are found and addicted to this game as I am regarding the doctor here turn him if you embrace him or allow him to die slowly the hospital district will fall and the area will be inhabited by skuls
Morally ambiguous, I suppose. A way out of his immediate predicament and possibly a punishment, which implies that MC at least thinks Edgar is a good enough man to one day come to regret all that he had done.
They mention that he is trying to take over the order, but that he doesn't know what he is up against (the tarot guy), so I think we are going to learn about how bad/good that was in a potential sequel.
I don't understand people here saying that if you turn him he kills people in the Pembroke area? In my game I turned him and the area remained healthy.
Letting him die means every single person in the hospital district disappears. I couldn't find them. I assume they either turned vampy or hunter. Turning him allows him to kill alot of them left and right. Killing him, I don't remember the outcome. But it's better than the previous two options.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if edgard dies and the hospital loses his pillar. everyone in the hospital will die/disapear after u go to sleep then!!!!!! i wasted so much EP. the whole game long i spared the people in the hospital to keep it a save place. all for the waste. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! waffensammlung-erforge nicht mehr machbar, wenn man die doktoren mit spezialwaffen noch nicht getötet hat
Astaldocair, No, he never brought up me killing people. I was playing a true paragon vamp. Got the "best" ending as well. Shit was admittedly a bit difficult without the extra exp (Certain boss you fight in the graveyard took like 5 tries). Second playthrough now, gonna be choppin on knecks and gulping the sweet sweet velvet nectar of life like a voracious glutton. Gonna be soooo overpowerd come end-game.
This game is really negative. You can't make like "good desions " At all. Everything here is really depressing. I feel all the NPC have are having depressing moments all the time.
@@rainbowruler6453 I played this video game in the ps plus of October last year. I completed it. Don't expect the game to be like other open world games. You are going to want to commit suicide as long as you follow the story because it isdifficult to make decisions and all with very complex consequences. You have to continue watching these videos. The isn't bad but I don't like since the story make you say "Oh come on! Isn't anything good thing happen here? Give me something at least a little peace".
