I have beaten this game twice and when you turn mr Dawson into a vampire he is still just as mean and nasty and hateful a rich corrupt old man as he always was if not even meaner and nastier

I'm so glad I drained him dry, I like making more Ekons but he is just a rich asshole, and now he is an immortal rich ashole. Edgar is so much cooler as a Vampire, even the Hunter is cooler.

I just completed the game and it sure did keep my morals in check.

In my game, I convinced Mr. Dawson that staying alive was horrible for him given his current condition and that accepting death would be an honorable thing to do; The one thing that can secure his place among God's angels. Now, seeing this, I wonder if I had made the right choice... Did I? Or did I not?

What would have been funny was if his sickness was a brain tumor that slowly changed his personality over his life, just so happening to take root after his brother’s death. So when he turns he is free from it scrambling his head and he is embarrassed with how much of a jerk he has been and now you have an immortal benevolent rich guy. Because his cartoonish evil was fun but a bit tired

*My reasoning to turn him:* Let me say straight off the bat, I don't believe in what he stands for. But everyone I spoke to was telling me how bad he was and that I shouldn't turn him. So that alone was enough for me to turn him. If you think about it, he is an old man who has worked his entire mortal life trying to find immortality at all costs and I thought, why not throw a dog a bone and finally give him what he wants. I believe if you work hard enough and want something bad enough you'll get it. That and... because I thought he would be a strong and influential progeny to have in the Ascalon club incase I wanted to rule one day 😏 Granted he acts like an ass at times, I let him run his mouth, but we both know I could take his life as quickly as I gave it to him if it came down to it. If you decide to turn him, he becomes a merchant. Some of the parts he sells upgrades your weapons to max level. So they can be very useful towards the end of the game, if you aren't already maxed out. Also, for those that have subscribed to our small gaming channel, words can't explain how grateful and how much we appreciate your support. Finally beat this game today and got the "Best" ending. It sucks I had to let **SPOILER ALERT**.......................................................................................Edgar Swansea die in order to get the best ending. I seriously thought about turning him since it would still get me the "Good" ending but I worked very hard to get the best ending. If they do ever make another Vampyr I really hope they make a pacifist run (at least the leveling up portion) easier.

I turned him. He made some valid points and has the money to back it. He sells worthwhile shit and I had 1000xp left so no big loss

I hated not turning him because that would have meant the healthy districts dropping to critical state.
