After choosing to turn Geoffrey McCullum and leaving him after the boss fight. I encountered him during the Antidote quest when I had to obtain a drop of King Arthur's blood from Geoffrey Mcullum.
You can find Geoffrey Mccullum fighting off enemies in the graveyard. I wasn't sure if he would attack me so I kept my distance. I was curious how he would go against all of them without any of my assistance. Didn't want to ruin the show.
He is a bit of a bad ass as a vampire as you can see. If you want to skip his fight scene, then skip to 1:30 just before the dialogue begins.
I also have the first meeting of Aloysius Dawson if you turned him:

I honestly think if the people behind Vampyr wanted to make a game telling McCullum story and more as himself being a vampire, you know hunter turned into the vile thing he hunted... I would play it honsetly, 100 percent.

Edgar wants Usher Talltree primate spot. Plus Edgar isn’t gonna stop experimenting Vampyr 2 is definitely needed.

What an idea for Vampyr 2. Like how this is about a doctor trying to decide between being the saviour or the killer, Vampyr 2 should have MaCullum deciding whether he's still the Vampire Hunter or embrace his power and superiority as a Vampire.

I can already see it; MaCullum is heavily wounded by his latest vampire target and is craving blood or else he might die. A random bystander walks by and out of pure instinct, he attacks and kills them. At first he's horrified at what he's done, but now he has the sweet taste of human blood on his lips and the rush of power it gives him. That's when it becomes the player's decision.

I'm certain that if there's a sequel we will play as McCullum. You cannot kill him in the game, that's intriguing. And, he's already becoming a vampire, he drank the blood after all.

They need to bring Mary back too, female players would love to have her as a playable option. She could team up with McCullum, both seeking vengeance against their maker. Mary knows Johnathan better than anyone else and knows how and where to strike him to cut deepest. She would target Lady Ashbury and everyone her brother is close to, just as she promised in the cemetery. That deep personal bond from their mortal lives is what makes her such a powerful villain. She could be for vampyr what the Joker is for Batman.

xjyxju I truly understand, but believe me, this may be horrible fate to him, but he has a fully control of himself, he may not feed in humans, but in undead. And hide he’s beast within him, and he’s beloved to he’s mans, and he’s a warrior, a hunter, he hunt monsters when he’s human, and so he shall hunt them even more stronger as a vampire warrior.. there’s some characters who don’t deserve to be turn. Where’s other must be sacrificed for good, and some are must be alive , like they tolled you in the game, they are not nameless people with no purpose..

Project TsukiNoMe yeah you're right but in Vampyr, Vampires don't have to drink only the blood of humans or have to drink blood at all. And yes then they would starve and it requires a lot of discipline but from what Lady Ashbury said, it is possible. With enemies I meant other Vampires. But I agree with you that turning him is an evil choice because turning someone who doesn't want to be turned is in fact evil

Project TsukiNoMe I had a hard time following what you were saying. I do think a vampire hunter turned vampire is badass so long as they stick with their oath of hunting down the undead. I was just don't see how Reid's choice would be considered evil. Cruel perhaps, but justifiable.

If you want to skip watching the fight between Geoffrey and the vile creatures, then go to 1:30 for the dialogue. McCullum would become a vampire no matter what you choose. By drinking the blood of Arthur (a vampire/Reids blood brother) he would of turned anyway. That is why you can't kill him. He also does not mention the voice of Reid, while the other turned vampires do. Mary wants to kill Reid over it, Swanson mention it and Dawson also (the latter has a protective amulet against it). You also only have to spend 1000 XP to "turn" him (maybe because he was already turning slowly?). While Swanson takes 3000 XP (because he is badly wounded?) and Dawson needs about 2000 XP (he might be old and dying but not wounded/normal). I don't think he is Reid's real "progeny", he only increased the process of turning. That is atleast my take from it XD

Assuming you decide to convert him, McCullum will be Jonathan's progeny (Myrddin will tell you himself) The reason it costs so little is because Jonathan only spat some blood into his mouth, while Swansea and Dawson sucked a bit more than they should have (although that didn't make them any more powerful)

Villain Crew that’s actually pretty interesting; considering that most vampires use the Shadows and not Light. Case in point Dr. Reid. Then again, it would be pretty fitting for him; he’s the light that shines harshly on the ones who would attempt to hide in the dark. Though seeing the gravestones crumble in the light is pretty hardcore... The thought passed that he’s bringing one of Swansea’s lights around, but then that would hurt him too, and it would be too annoying to bring something like that around.

I think it's orichalcum powder...McCullum's crazy enough to use it right where he is, too, to take out a bad guy... LOL (He'll just be a badass and heal himself up later. ~_^ ) EDIT: Actually, it's those lights like he uses on you when you fight him in the hospital. I watched a different walkthrough, and from a different angle, you can see the lights on the ground. Bummer. ~_^

Aaron Shattuck Well if you stay in the Ascalon club and turn him, he becomes a sort of exotic merchant. Which lets you buy high end parts and medicines. You won't have access to that unless you turn him.

I mean he beat Mary who was also his progeny at a weaker level, id say it's a close fight but Reid wins he was sired by a literal vampire god while Mccullum was sired by Reid (powers and abilities weaken from generation to generation so Mccullum is slightly weaker than Reid but still an extremely powerful vampire nevertheless)

Priwen and the brotherhood spereated due to the leader being a vampire. This caused the split of the two organisations, although they do help each other out occasionally. So priwen was formed because they disagreed with having a vampire lead them. I don't think they would take too nicely to mcmuffin being a vampire himself.

@@chart4638 the reason why the priwen guard was formed was because Kendall Stone wanted the brotherhood to dedicate itself to eradicating vampires instead of studying them, and thus the division between the two organizations occurred, it was never because there was a vampire as leader

The brotherhood does kill vampires they only kill them when a hostile vampire threatens London. You guys haven’t read Usher Talltree notes? The primate does a ceremony and goes on a warpath to kill that hostile vampire that’s why the Dragonbane was created. Also Usher Talltree isn’t who he says he is Mydrrin even says this at the end if you turn Edgar he says when they ask what will happen to the brotherhood Edgar doesn’t know what dreadful power he’s about to defy. I believe Usher is Paulus Arneluis the guy who created the brotherhood. Also in Usher Talltree notes he says the guard will hunt all elder vampires he knows his name will be on the list.🤣

So turning him is just a waste of XP. He will give you blood anyway only difference except the end of dialog is that he fight those creatures. If you spare him, he will be alone.

i don't understand why this caracter is so popular. I don't like extremist and violent guys (I just let him alive) and this is the reason why for me, [spoils] he do not deserve to have the purest and the most powerful blood flowing through his veins. And if you turn him into vampire, there is any consequence on the game. The level of security is not improving and there are still so many monsters.

I spared him so he stayed human. The whole thing about him drinking Arthur's blood before fight makes no sense since he doesn't turn into vampire unless you choose to do so. Maybe he didn't drink the pure blood and it was mixed with water...? I found this as a big plothole. I was always fascinated with vampires and usually the myths say the way how to turn into vampire is that the vampire must firts drink your blood and then offers you theirs. If they added this to the game it would make so much more sense why McCullum didn't turn into vampire after sparing him.

You meet him way before that. In Swansea's office. Reid and he have that standoff thing in the doorway and Swansea complains about Pembroke being neutral territory and just having his carpet cleaned.

It is somewhat possible if you level up the biting skill to max. Taking down a same level enemy can take just one bite or a claw swipe & bite.

I loved this game but the late game is to annoying fully upgraded melee weapon and half the time the damage bar dosent move and levelling is impossible unless you feed. Poison and fire is bullshit wiping your under levelled health bar in a second.

Lethaniel Simpson I preordered the game 2 hours before it came out so I could download it and play it when it was launched and ended up getting the outfit as dlc. You also get a gun and sword. The sword was pretty strong, I used it for like 90% of my playthrough. I'm pretty sure you the dlc is in the store for like $3, but not certain about that.

It changes a lot if only makes sense to turn Mccolum if you turn Doctor Swansea. Mccolum becomes a bad ass vampire basically a nemrod and DR Swansea if Turned is planning on killing Usher Talltree to become a new primate but Mydrrin says Edgar doesn’t know what he’s up against Usher is deadlier and more powerful then he looks. So a 2nd Vampyr game is definitely needed.
