I have the sweet Alhambra in solid rose gold and it’s my everyday piece. I haven’t taken it off since I received it in September 2020. So in love! I’m hoping for the grey mother of pearl at some point in the future!

I like the color of the sweet alhambra but prefer the size and style of the vintage. The way the pendant attaches to the chain is more pleasing to the eye.
Nice comparison video. Both necklaces are gorgeous, but l prefer the VCA Sweet it is classic, petite and understated. And as you said, stacks well with other necklaces. I would get the VCA Sweet in yellow gold just the single charm necklace and single charm bracelet, because l love to live in my jewelry! Thanks for sharing.😄😊
Beautiful pieces! I will say that I have had a different experience with attached pendants vs floating pendants. In my experience I have found that when pendants are attached to the chain, as you turn your head and move the chain will pull from the back of your neck and cause the pendant to move off center in the front. When the pendant is free to move, even though the chain might move through neck turning, the pendant will slide back to the center front of your neck and always be in place. Maybe I just move too much 😂.
Thank you for putting words on that. I have a Messika move uno necklace and the pendant is attached. This bothers me so much as I want it to stay in the middle so I am constantly making sure it is still in the middle... I would love the vintage alhambra but I don't know because of that^^

That colour looks lovely on you ❤️ I have to say even though I’ve never seen them in person, I’m definitely interested in the mother of pearl vintage sized necklace as well as the single motif mother of pearl bracelet. They would look great with my watch since it has a mother of pearl face. I originally would have loved to eventually get the 5 motif bracelet but it would probably overpower the watch since mine is so small (26mm face)
I got the mother of pearl, wanted the black so bad but the problem is I only wear black dresses or black tshirts lol. So I went with the small white one in yellow gold

hello! i know this video was from quite a while ago, but if you see my comment i have a question: i'm about to buy my first luxury fine jewellery piece and i'm debating between the sweet alhambra necklace in carnelian and the cartier love wedding band in rose gold, both of which are quite classic imo.. is the sweet alhambra necklace worth buying as a first luxury piece?

@@NewYorkSensation I think you should. I’m trying to decide what to get I have gmop five motif and I want a necklace I’m thinking to do chalcedony but everyone says get the matching set. I wear my Cartier necklace with the motif so I thought to get a white gold piece what do you think I should do so confused.

i’m looking to add the vintage alhambra for my first VCA necklace but can’t decide which color to go for. i’m between the MOP or carnelian. which one would u you recommend?
@@NewYorkSensation i feel like i’m the same boat. my heart is going towards the carnelian though. i love the MOP because it goes with a lot of things but the pop of color in the carnelian draws me in more.
@@snags37 I have both of them (sweet size) and the MOP definitely looks dull (on white skin at least). I still like it though mainly thanks to the yellow gold chain that is gorgeous. The carnelian is perfect!
Something about the MOP is bothering me too, I don't seem to love my set, I love all my other sets, onyx, malachite, tiger eye etc but not the white mother of pearl some how.. so I understand, it either love or dislike with the MOP.
