Tony, interesting I brought a knock off one as well on Amazon. I've been using it for a few months now on a Sunday shave. I remember initially it cut me up. I googled about this and a video came up about it & it might sound strange, but dial it down first and then dial up for the other passes. It definitely worked for me. I now find I only need two passes 1. with the grain on position 2 & a cross pass on position 5. Thank for remembering to use both sides of the safety razor, lol!
I do prefer the DE shaves so happy to see this video. There are a number of Futur clones. I have one from a company called QShave that’s essentially the same as this one. It’s a very efficient razor so I tend to stay at setting 3 and below. Your lather looked fine to me. Thanks for the video! -Eric

Thank you Mr Tony for reviewing a safety razor. It is very similar to q shave razor it is very similar to Merkur futur design wise sir. I've similar design razor from kenem x exactly the same it's a very aggressive razor sir.

@@averageguytested yea I do to it seriously seems like my shave last a few days longer when I use this razor as opposed to my shaver. Ppl say that it don’t make a difference maybe not, but I still believe that I get better results. Thanks for the video
How smooth is the blade and sharpness. I like Gillette Platinum or Astra Superior platinum. I realize that Platinum coated blades are comfortable for my sensitive skin.
I've never used a Futur. Allot of people say the Futur is too aggressive. I also don't like the fact that there's no separate adjustment dial on the futur. They could've added one with the clones.
The is is new for Van Der Hagen, but it’s a clone or copy of the Merkur Futur. It’s not a super aggressive razor. I’d look for a milder blade like Gillette’s Premium Blues or the King C Gillette blades. Thanks for watching 👋🏽
oh ok thank you. I have sensitive skin so I prefer milder razors. I have some astra platinums blades that use but I’ll try those. If it’s a clone of the merkur and it’s less aggressive then I might try it out. I’m a beginner so I’m not what to get but I would something new to try
Lol this brand seems to me a complete knock-off from top to bottom,, they don't just copied the design of the merkur futur but also their logo is a sort of knock off or at least very VERY derivative of mühle's logo 😂😂
