She was so much more likable on here than she is on the View. This is why I was excited for her to join the View because she is an intelligent person who isn't party over people but on the View she seems to get very frazzled easily and it shows.
@@gregbryant516 She has a quick temper I think, which a lot of people have, but it doesn't go over well in a TV show. She also does seem self-centered or immature, which could explain why she is more likable in this interview, where she has all the attention. But she's smart, and I'll always be grateful for her and her family's support for Biden.
Palin never said anything homophobic, racist or derogatory, never bashed immigrants or Muslims, and her work as Governor was thoroughly vetted by the Obama administration for potential ethics violations and nothing was found... but sure she was Trump. Libtarded idiot.
That is giving Palin too much power. She was nowhere near the first. You can easily trace this populism, racism/nationalism, lack of interest in facts or good policy back through George W, Reagan, and even the Know-Nothing party of the 1840's. McCain made a major error in his desire for power. He knew that and all signs are that he deeply regretted it and wished he had not tried.
Was an independent voter in 2008 I was leading to voting for McCain. Picking an attractive female gov of Alaska, good choice, what could go wrong? Then she opened her mouth. I became a Democrat after that.
She said republicans now are Trump republicans but she get upset when someone criticizes the Republican people for backing Trump!!! Someone explain please
Meghan says over and over on the view .... she’s speaking for her people.... who Republicans ? The people who voted for trump ? She use to defend him and when trump attacked her father she changed her mind about trump and calls his base trumpers , which to her they are not republicans..... all of the sudden
She's only relevant because her father is John McCain. Her father picked Sarah Palin as Vice President in 08, enough said. I like McCain after Trump, but i can't ignore his political past.
Barbara Army that's literally not what she said at all. I really like Meghan McCain. She is eloquent and nuanced and not a blithering idiot like a majority of her party right now and openly criticized them.
@@Dan-pd9ys she doesn't need to say it, she proves it by her defense of Trump everyday on the View. She goes out of her way to defend Trump even when he insults her dad. So yes, she picks party over country
We can't separate from him, because we owe him an eternal debt of gratitude. He prevented the Clinton bitch from becoming president. No other Republican candidate could have done that.
Tyrell Anderson I disagree with 90% of Biden's views. I think he's a decent man but would never vote for him. Politics is very nuanced and both parties want to help the nation but they have fundamental philosophical differences on how to get there.
I think if people actual looked at the breadth of the policies, not just the ten popular things to talk about, they'd realize they don't disagree with any mainstream politician that much. On one of those very thorough assessments, I agreed with Bernie 98%, Clinton 96%, and Trump (Trump!) a not very distant third, I think high 80s. Trump doesn't hold to traditional Republican stances but even the most conservative and most liberal agree by more than 50%.
@ariel kyloan pro life.. so you’re anti women’s choice. he never said illegal immigration is fine, so you’re for separation of those 500 children who can’t find their parents. Tax hike? Are you a billionaire? Biden always said people can keep their private insurance, but they’ll be options for others who can’t afford it. He was the only one that said it during the Bernie Warner democratic nomination. He NEVER said police should be abolished. Or even defund (reallocate money) even when trump said he said it and held up papers, reporters looked through it and didn’t find it. You do you, 75%.
Look I am a Stern Democrat and can not tolerate #Drumph! However Ms. McCain is an honorable person just like her father. I refuse to be just like a drumphenite and demonize a Republican moderate just because we hate #drumph. I don't agree with her on most things but I do not think she is bad person just because she is a Republican.
This is the Meghan McCain I can take seriously and like. When she throws tantrums I The View I jus get blocked and change the channel. She’s really smart.
Same here. My opinion is that Palin was picked to grab the pissed off Hillary supporters. Senator Susan Collins would have been a far better choice. There was one other woman Republican I can't remember equally as good to be a runningmate.
It's so simple. Palin was a fresh new face, the first female Governor of Alaska who could help keep the base on board after McCain made a comeback to win the party's nomination. The party was reluctant to take him for a while, trailing at times behind Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee in the primaries. So while independents might've voted for McCain based on his "maverick" reputation, base Republicans might not have. Enthusiasm at the time was low, with President Bush's approval down and the historic nomination of either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton in the works on the other side. So he couldn't pick a bland VP like Tim Pawlenty or his Democratic friend Joe Lieberman without losing enthusiasm or party backing. And Sarah Palin, flawed as she was, did energize the party and probably wound up helping him in some ways. But it was a catch-22: Gain the party, lose independents or vice versa. He gambled on the hope that his rep would help him keep some independents while keeping the base.
I am not a fan of hers but I think it's important to listen to what she has to say because she knows the party from the inside out. I think what she is saying is accurate, though you may not want to accept it.
THIS IS WHAT I KEEP SAYING, Palin was adored by Banon, and Meghan keeps talking about that Trump is a Banon candidate, but her father choose a Banon candidate. Why does nobody challenge her? On the view she keeps getting annoyed when people give her counter arguments.
I just don't understand how having a conversation with different people with different views is fake news or race baiting. This us vs them is getting old and annoying
Sarah Palin VP pick was a big mistake. All I could think about at the time was the possibility that she could potentially be President was scary. Of course, that was before reality show host Trump. Now THAT has been a nightmare.
To all the people asking why is Meghan here, why did we see so much of Chelsea Clinton last year? They both offer interesting perspectives into some of the most notable leaders of their political parties
Dissapointed with Megan I've been a fan of hers for some time, but im not so sure now !! if her Dad and Trump got on she'd be on board too, im sure of it..!! still love you Megan. .
Van Jones is supposed to be a democrat? Jeff flake is good? Give me a break the policies are virtually the same but I guess doing it with a soft voice and lame smile makes you “so good”
Wow she has really packed on the weight She's enormous!!!! She needs to start wearing clothes that fit. Word has it she binge eats at The View studios daily it's pretty bad
