Little to no parental support from the father of the child and a bad neighborhood. You get what we are talking about. Generational poverty is as easy as generational wealth. We already know the system but for some reason we can't stop contributing to it. We knew in the 90's that more Black men were incarcerated than in college...20 years later it's the same...them MAGA didn't do that, we know that there was a White patriarchal system that set this up. He said criminal justice reform, he said addressing the treatment of black women in work and hospitals. He's actively and successfully reforming the system specifically because he's trying to help black. He said all of these things very clearly multiple times not excluding when he was asked.

One pressing problem for black people is racist policing and mass incarceration. It’s an objective fact that Latinos also suffer racist policing and over incarceration. So that’s obviously the political ally right there. We both want the same thing, let’s do it. Doesn’t matter if we like or care about each other. It’s not taking on their issue to do that. That’s the kind of ruling class mentality that gets shit done in politics. JP Morgan doesn’t even care if a politician actively villainizes Wall Street on the campaign trail, *as long as they get their pro bank bill passed* . Similarly, black people are disproportionately uninsured. So Medicare for all would help tons of black people, and the black economy at large because it’d also be cheaper for many small businesses and entrepreneurs. But it’s “for all” not only “Medicare for ADOS” so somehow it takes away from black people to support that? No, it obviously doesn’t. Also, In terms of POLICY - there’s a much bigger difference between rich blacks and poor blacks, than there is between poor blacks and poor whites. Yes racism against rich blacks still exists, but mostly the Govt can’t do much about that outside of criminal justice reform which would help other groups too. Most of the problems that we can do anything about through the government are economic. While rich ADOS deserve reparations too, obviously short of reparations the priority should be helping poor Black people. And how do you do that? The same ways you would help poor white and Latino people, who are therefore the political allies to get that stuff done. That’s why dr king was organizing a poor peoples march of all races when he was killed. The black panthers organized with the young lords (puerto Ricans) and young patriots (poor whites) to combat police brutality and do economic programs in Chicago. Working with other people often helps strengthen both sides, it’s not taking on other peoples issues at your own expense.
