Welcome back to another vid guys.
Over the last 12 months we have received a heap of requests for us to show you guys more of the day to day stuff from our travels... SO HERE YA GO...
What happens in our daily life when getting from A to B??
What time do we wake up?
How do we school the kids?
How do we keep kids entertained during car travel?
How do we keep fit?
Coffee? Kids routine? Bedtimes?
Let me know your feedback in the comments. Cheers - Justin & Bec

It all started when…
In December 2015 we packed up and hit the road for what we thought would be a 12 month Lap of Oz. Fast forward 4 years and we decided to create a video series of our travels to show you all what it’s like to live life on the road!!

Best bit of this TIAV "Day in the Life" video? Watching Justin put away the spoons? Nope Watching Bec put on deodorant? Nope Watching a family in the morning all in bed - with the three kids cuddling their parents who didn't have to rush out the front door by 7.30am? Yep - that bit

A few comments if I may from an avid viewer in the U.K. Loved this episode as I do all of your content, Bec, you are so naturally beautiful you do not need the artificial rubbish of make up a lot of women use. You mention it in your daily routine in this episode and not only that I am sure in most of your daily adventures and pursuits it would only get washed away to once again show the radiance of your natural beauty which is also evident of your children. What I find wonderful so much about the them is not only their beauty but how beautiful they are to each other. I am sure they will all grow up not only to help make the world a better place with not only their looks but with their beautiful minds. What an amazing family family you are . I am sure there are times off camera when there maybe arguments and tempers as in all walks of life but can only assume the constant smile on your children’s and yours and Justin face is due to the lifestyle choice you have made. It is great to see the home schooling, the “Justin BBQS” the fishing, and all the coastal resorts you guys get to. I was hooked when I first starting watching your channel and Justin, said something along the lines of “what a wonderful place and we are the only people here”, found a few places like that in the U.K. with our caravan but not on the scale you guys have found. Anyway....love your family....your adventures.....I watch an hours episode and still I want to binge watch like a Netflix series and continue to the next upload. What a wonderful family and inspiration you guys are to others. My heart goes out to all of you. Stay safe , take care and watch you on the next one 👍👍👍👍👍👍x

Aww, to have that as my normal day would be amazing! It’s freezing here in the UK and dark and dull... though we have had it hot here for the last 7 months! When I was in Aus November last year I almost tripped over a huge snake, I saw no spiders and to my amazement and pleasure, a lot of the blokes did look like Chris Hemsworth 👌. When I watch you all dive into swim holes I’m thinking ‘what’s going to bite or sting in there!’ .. show some of the creatures you have to deal with along the way maybe? Love this show, thank you 😃

Justin: Happy Wife, Happy Life. Also, it’s your turn to make the bunks. What is it with this gender bullshit?!!🤣 Jack: parenting goals😂. They’re all darlings though❤️ Humour aside, enjoy those cuddles, before you know it... puberty (my oldest is now 21, there will be a time the cuddles end). Also, our youngest 2 boys (9 &5) are on the autism spectrum, we couldn’t do this full time, because they need therapy/disability school... But I can see school holidays would be awesome in a caravan, because they’d permanently have their familiar home spaces while we travel, and we’ve been taking them out every weekend on adventures since they were babies. Routine “starts with an R and ends with a T” 😂😂😂 (onya Justin, Beck’s face said it all!) is definitely key😉... You guys showed the reality of routine: routine also starts in the mornings, through the day, and bed time routine starts with afternoon playtime, dinner, bath, story, bed - it’s all those steps that lead up to bed time that are important for bed time: signal cues for your kids to follow and prepare by. Cheers guys, love the content😘🍷

Go guy’s are so real, it’s a pleasure to watch anything that you do! Life on the road is more than highlights of the destination. You remind a bit of the Leylands, except they were 2 couples in the early days. They kept it real, they were the same on camera, as they were in real life. Don’t be scared to show the humble parts of the day , share the lot. The kids are major players in your videos, they do what kids do! Stay real, don’t change for any critics!

I think if you guys wanted to keep sharing these kind of videos you guys could definitely continue on with vlogs when you one day settle into a house and do other things with your time. People are just falling in love with your family now. If you guys stopped travelling today and bought some acreage and started to do up garden beds, buy some cows, style your new house etc i know i would watch. If people feel the same as me i just love you guys haha i feel like i know you a bit and i love watching the kids grow and be cheeky and charli's huge smile everyday. I would miss watching! Meaning in simple terms , How did you meet each other and hit it off from there to create such a warm and feel good site that everyone gravitates to you guys. Reason I ask, is because I always look to you guys when I have a destination in mind that will excite all and not disappoint to create that ice cold feeling of Get us the Hell out of here! I loved this episode. Charlie bear has grown up heaps since I last watched your videos. Shes so funny. I gotta show my partner your webber slide invention! Great idea! We just did a 2 week holiday in WA (our 1st caravan trip) staying in some of the great camp spots featured on your videos. We love the caravan life and will now plan to go longer. I have learnt that I dont much like caravan parks where your squashed in like sardines. Freedom camping is the best! I also found it a bit annoying how some people (especially the ones with kids who scream every 3hrs in the night) will choose to camp right next to our van when theres something like 100 acres with multiple spots to choose from. Whats with that? Haha. I guess it is human nature to want to congregate together 🤔. Any great ideas about finding the best camp sites? How do you travel through school holidays when theres more people on the road? How long do you stay in one place generally?

I’m sure you don’t actually want your dog to kick the bucket 😳. I know what you mean though, we will be travelling next year with our much loved dog, she has high medical needs and is very expensive with meds etc, all of which I have had to factor into our year long Tavel budget, not to mention we can’t go into National Parks and as she is a rescue dog and has had a very abusive past (we are her 5th family) there’s no way we can even put her into doggie day care as it would be traumatic for her; so yep, travelling with pets can be a challenge!
@jasonja1981
@jasonja1981 4 года назад
@@jojandy1963 he has been a great dog, we got him from the RSPCA when he was 8 weeks old 12 years ago and travelling in the cooler months definitely turned him into a different dog. It's alot more money as you can't free camp and leave them while you go and do an experience. We have had 1 vet bill all year and that was recently for an ear infection from the humidity of Darwin. Good luck on your travels and shout out if you are in yeppon area, would love to meet you and your pooch. How do they keep themselves busy when you are doing daily chores, cleaning etc without many toys on hand?

Where did you guys originate from? Love your videos and living vicariously through you haha! We're 47 and 53 - hubby is underground in a coal mine working 7/7 away from home, and I work full time so 9 hours of each day is occupied. We're having serious thoughts about what we should do before our knees don't work anymore and would love to hit the road like you have. We have always spent 6 months of the year apart as he's always worked away - do you ever get sick of each other? Serious question......

Fi Stephenson we left from Newcastle in nsw. And yeah we get sick of each other, but nothing bad. Just need a few hours apart now and then 🤙

Thanks for sharing. It's greatly appreciated. Justin, you mentioned earlier on in the vid about "caravanning etiquette" in campgrounds ? As we're leaving for an indefinite trip around and through Oz next year with a caravan, I think it will probably help us a lot if you can share some "hot tips". Again, thanks to you both.

I was thinking 'here we go, the Routine vlog is the vlog youtubers do when their hard up for a vlog'. But I would say this is your warmest and most intriguing vlog to date- loved it! Thanks for letting us in, hope I dont sound like a flog!! What would I like to see🤔🤔? Perhaps on your way to Cape York you can make a point/vlog of the road stops getting trashed with travellers rubbish, and challenge a clean-up of one or two!!
