Van Life Pull out table installation - Heavy Duty Drawer Slides

You very welcome. The IKEA bed struts are perfect. I don't know why they are not more common in van builds. Easily adjustable, strong and better than wood. Cheaper than buying and other metal posts. The table has worked out very well. It does pull out longer than we actually need! Currently working on the top of the table which will feature a US map. Of course that will be in a future video :-)

Frugal Factor it’s actually quite common place in self builds over here in the UK, to the point where IKEA customer service no longer provide the free brackets as they are overwhelmed by people asking for them! The draw table I have never seen before though! Do you have a video of the finished table showing how it opens? Thanks again.

To hold the drawer slide to the bed rails threaded rod is used and cut to size after installation. Two nuts or one nylon insert lock-nut on each.

1/4" - 20 as long as needed (about 6 inches). Then cut after installation.
