It's cause he didn't rely on speed or power, he was just that technical and creative with great movement and spatial awareness. He was one of those players that just made the game look easy.
He could have played as a number 10, a playmaker and still wont look out of position. Classy player. As an Arsenal fan, it did hurt when he switched to the red half of Manchester. But he did not do it out of greed (eg. Adebayor, Nasri, Clichy etc). He was even better than them as a player. His ambition outgrew Arsenal's, and for that, i respected his decision. When he won the EPL, i was happy that his decision paid off. He went to the best team in England back then n proved that he could do it with the big boys. In my eyes, he was never a Judas. Every honest, passionate footballer wants to win trophies. Why play if you dont even think of winning. He has that elite mentality with a natural born talent. Just sad that he did not get to win more trophies. Legend.
He will be remembered as one of the best players in our generation. Rvp was the best in EPL since 2010 to 2014. What a left foot. My alltime favorite 😍
I'm so glad videos like these emerge of RVP. Newer generation are hellbent on knowing him through only volleys when this man was an amazing dribbler and playmaker as well for so long at Arsenal. His dribbling skills are insane for a CF. Him and Suarez in their prime are TOP WORLD CLASS STRIKERS of that particular EPL ERA.
The goals at 3:33/4:31, and some others are just insane.. this guy had a truly unique shooting technique. Definetely one of the best strikers of his generation.
I watch football since 2006 World cup, i have seen so many deadly strikers Like Eto´o, Prime Zlatan, Raul, Del piero, Tevez, etc.. and in netherlands i have seen Huntelaar, Van nistelrooy, Kuyt, de jong (Hahaha). but i have never seen a man like the legend RVP, he was a phenomenal finisher, he could score from smallest chance possible on the pitch, i do not think anyone, literally anyone can repeat 2 goals of his career: 1- His famous header Against Spain. 2- First touch Volley outside the box with rooney´s assist at Man Utd. (3:32) My most favorite player of all time, literally untouchable.
Yes, a perfect player, he was my favorite too, I always loved to see him playing, a great quality player, shot, pass, dribble, moves, everything at one unique player, still remember, thanks 👍
One of my favorite players ever. So technically gifted and creative. If only he didn't suffer all those injuries, would be regarded as a top 10 forward of all time.
@@GazaNation I think it depends with which century you were born and raised in for my generation Van Persie is top 10 for sure I have never watched Del piero or Batistuta and Van Basten I respect them as legends but as for the players I have I had the chance to Watch Van Persie is a top 10 striker
Surgically precise technique, preternatural calmness, and the balance and body control of a gymnast, or figure skater (or squirrel). He played with grace.
One of the most underrated attackers. If he played with better teams his record would have been better and had more trophies! But he still will always be the man who gave true meaning to the phrase ‘THE FLYING DUTCHMAN!’ 🤣🤣🤣
Won back to back PL Golden boots. Some striker he was in his hey day. Had a delicious left foot and most certainly loved a well timed volleyed finish.👌🏾💯⚽️
🔥🥷🏾 a proper baller who invented skills and knew the perfect time to use them unlike most players who like to entertain but with little effect. Dude is a football genius simple!
@hfc3696 it's not as easy anymore to find copyright free music these days though.. i think that's probably a reason why most of the songs don't really fit with the vids.
@hfc3696 i think i have to agree with you there. I just thought copyright issues must be the reason for that, because i follow his work on YT since around 2012 now. And back then the songs in his videos were actually pretty good most of the time. But aside from that, his content is top notch and to me, still one of the best Football channels around.
you can see a bit of bergkamp's skill, a bit of henry's dribbling and flair, and a left foot that strikes harde and faster than lightning. this guy came to man utd and litterally made them champions of the league. topscorer and all.
