@@clintoutdoors3280 Is it that much of a difference? The main reason I am looking into it is for the line retrieval on the 100, I mainly fish the beaches here in FL and have always used Shimano but have had 2 reels seize up on me, hence why I am going the VS route. I know these aren't smooth but willing to sacrifice smoothness for durability. Having never fished a VS before is the 27 inches of line retrieval on the vsx100 much slower than the 30 inches on the vsx150?
@@adrielmendoza801 trust me I used to fish Shimano ALOT and don’t get me wrong when they work they’re fine… but they won’t be Shimano smooth but once you fish them and break them in they’ll get ALOT smoother and trust me once you buy one you’ll never go back and that’s a fact💯
vsx and vsx2 not many differences...but the main deciding factor is that the parts won't be available for the vsx after 10 years....thats the ONLY reason why i would get a vsx2.
That reel pouch, that goes with every reel. It costs 2 dollars to do that, on a 1000 + dollars reels. So it is nothing to admire. They should go with nice wooden box for each. And even that wouldn't cost the manufacturer more than 10 dollars to do.
Looking like little diamants. I checked out if these are available in Germany too and they are. They cost a lot but much less than a Saltiga or a Stella. What do you think? Are they worth money? I'm not a rich man but I like products which I can use for many years.
In my honest opinion yes I feel as if they will be worth the money… giving that these reels are reliable and if something EVER happens to it you can fix it and fish them for another 30yrs lol
@@clintoutdoors3280 thank you,I will think about it. Sometimes it's better to pay more when you get more. Too often I payed twice because of a wrong decision.
I brutally abused my van staal vs 250 on the jetteys and in the water, i also didn't really need to service it till 3 years later when it was low on grease and got a little stiff, so In my opinion yes they are so worth it. I would only recommend the v.s model not the v.r.
