So happy to hear you are going 4X4 and not quitting Vanlife! I was also happy to hear that you love Vanlife as I really enjoy your exploits, your laugh and beautiful photography!
Hey good news that your adventures will continue. My wife (glenda the magnificent) and i watch your travels with a cup of coffee in the morning. I like your “ let’s try that out” spirit. You are an exceptional person. Inspiring. There are challenges in life that humans can overcome. Glad you are enjoying and thriving on the journey. We have been fixing up an old rv and will go on some adventures too. Bert - an old guy from southern oregon
For as much as you struggled to make this video… it turned out really, really well done. Even the commercial was well done! Can’t wait to see what the next build entails.
Good for you Anna, variety is the spice of life and you’ve already proven to yourself that the lifestyle works for you and this is a great natural progression! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏻👍🏻👊🏽
YOU are really a HOOT YOUNG LADY im 67 years young and back in the day we didnt experience things such as van life So I really enjoy your adventures and your conversations GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEW RIG AND SAFE AND FUN TRAVELS
Very nicely done - the tour … but especially the build ... wow! Congrats on the sale, and good luck with your next project. Hope your time away from RU-vid is short-lived. Will miss your infectious sense of humor and many quips that often bring spontaneous laughs and smiles to this viewer.
Please keep on producing output. I look forward to each episode, I like the 'natural' presentation/ comments to the scripted comments from others. You're a breath of fresh air in an otherwise mundate existance. Thanks D
Toyota?! Whatever it is, I’m excited to see what your next rig is! I also like how my favorite RU-vid channels are turning towards 4x4 adventures! I wish you nothing but the best, and a future filled with joyous adventures!
I'm 77 and have always had 4x4's until my Promaster. So I definitely understand wanting a 4x4! Your van is so lovely. You did a great job. The next owner will love it
Insanely great advice for more than just van life. Most people will never follow a dream or career path because they don't know when or how to start. "WHERE do I even point my feet to take that first step? Even if I knew what direction to take my first step, WHEN do I take it?" Take that first step...in ANY direction...NOW. Sometimes...most times actually...your first steps are in the wrong direction. That's how you figure out the "right" direction. But you never figure out the right direction without taking the first "wrong" step. "I want to start a podcast but I don't know how or where to start." Literally hit record on your phone and start talking about a subject. It will be terrible. It will sound so bad you never want to try again. But now you know where to improve. Now you learn how and where to focus. Now the journey has officially begun. You just had to take that first "wrong" step. Great video. New sub.
Hey Anna! Long time watcher, first time commentor here. Loved and appreciated the tour but your co-star, the fork, did it for me. Glad to hear you're just upgrading lol.
Ummm, that first piece of advice was well timed! I've been trying to narrow down when to leave for my first big trip. (two months, very soon, but no solid date I can settle on) I just purchased a power source I didn't think I'd manage getting for this trip, but that meant "postponing" the initial date I had in mind despite knowing it was probably a bit overly ambitious. I was feeling it was late, but also find that a few things are aligning now combined with the feeling of starting late AND knowing there is no "late" at the same time. It's motivating while the "right" date seems to be narrowing itself! First step is simply "South" from Northern Vt for about a day and a half or until the air doesn't hurt my face! Also- Your van is-was?!- Awesome! I suppose I could accurately still say "is", but I assume it is awesome for someone else now.
“The perfect van does not exist”. Well said about most things in life! I just bought a 2017 Sprinter 4x4, love it and will keep improving it along the way.
I still think you had one of the best builds out there. But yes a 12 V fridge with freezer is an easy replacement. Gel batteries are smart since you were below freezing a lot. Good luck on the next adventure!
Anna, your journey so far has been inspiring. I hope for you the best in the next adventure, and I look forward to coming along for the ride as it were.
Congratulations on the van sale and thanks for posting this tour and update. I was wondering what had happened. Good luck with your new home acquisition. Looking forward to whatever adventures you find with it (build/no build/exploring/life). I hope you had a merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Welcome to My Shoebox Kingdom... Haaa. OMG. Great line... The rest of your vlog has me in stitches....the pretty girl talking into a fork ...cat got your tongue?? I would love to take your van....if you came with it Seriously...I'm hoping you get a good buyer... And can't wait to see what you get ...can't wait to follow your adventures in 2023. And on and on... You are the best of the best 🙏 Keep on trucken girl ❤️
Hey Anna, I started watching you at your beginnings when you were building your bed, as I was wondering about using the same Ikea supports for my build. I like your simplicity and the way you evolved in your personal life, vanlife and with the channel. You are inspirational and I cannot wait for your new adventures. Greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪 😘😘😘
Wow, again sorry still catching up on the channel as it is new to me. Love the tour and what you have done / accomplished! Makes me dream of course in the meantime so thank you very much for the adventures!!! Looking forward to the future amd whatever it holds!
At this point that video is out the van has been sold already. Great, now the next conversion can start! Hope, you got the price you wanted and will find the next rigg soon and at comfortable conditions (if not even happend already). Wish you a good start into the next year and a very succesful and peaceful 2023! 👍🏻
Congratulations on selling your van. I hope you had a fantastic Christmas and I'm looking forward to watching your new adventures in the new year. Take care and drive safe 🤗
Very entertainingly done.......with grace and humour and a perfect farewell to your first beautiful van build. Godspeed and exciting to see what is in your future. 💖
Great tour! I hope you're getting a 5th gen 4runner for that 'Toyota reliability'.. although any of their truck or SUV line will serve you well. Much better than any P.O.S. Mopar ever could. I've been wanting a 4runner for trail riding & truck camping etc, so I have been looking into builds for them for a bit now. That's how I discovered @NoPerfectPlan 's channel .. She has a great setup and lives out of hers. I know you've already researched whatever you are getting yourself into, but it wouldn't hurt you to check out her build and equipment tour for yourself. Actually, watching her channel is how I recently discovered yours! Good luck!
I’m looking forward to your new adventures! I absolutely love your handheld microphone. 😂 great van tour. Love the van. You’re going to love the flexibility you’ll have with the 4X4 van. ✌🏽❤️
Nice van tour! [however, it probably would have gone more smoothly if you used a salad fork instead of a dinner fork] Best of luck with Van Version 2.0.
When you first said that you were selling your van I got sad. Sad because I thought you were giving up Van life and I couldn’t follow you😢 I’m happy that you’re moving on to a 4x4 van and I’ll see more of your adventures 🤙🏽💕

you inspire us! greatings from Istanbul, Turkey, we love you and follow you
Brains and beauty too! You mentioned wanting larger water tanks… I built a portable sink for my industrial loft with 15 gallon tanks (2x fresh water barrels, 1x gray water horizontal tank on wheels) Disadvantages: Cannot be easily cleaned, very heavy to move, necessitates chemical additives to prevent black mold buildup. And in a van - stationary water tanks will need an exterior RV hookup of some sort. Your water tank design is a better solution as the tanks can be easily cleaned, filled, or replaced. And with the sink positioned at the side door, it would be possible to drain the gray water directly outside with a valve going through the bottom of your cabinet and through the step-up plate. (My van is a Ford where this is very easy.) For overland adventure - look into filtering systems of untreated local water. Then, you have no limitations on your travel. Best regards, Kaz
Loved watching your adventures even though my adventures are 180° out from yours. Mostly moving slowly through terrains that have all manner of rocks, critters & plants. Sometimes I travel on all fours. Way to go, you are Beautiful.
Hi, hope you are having wonderful Christmas holidays, I am 64 and I wish when I was younger I would have to have to travel around in my own home. The only problem is I don't drive lol. Some people don't understand my choice of living in the country and not driving. I could never go back to city life left when I was 21 and never looked back. Now I am looking forward to selling my place and having a new adventures and upsetting my friends because I intend to live in more secluded. You may be wondering why I am telling you this. It is because you are helping me have the courage to not listening to others and do what is best for me. Thanks, good luck with your new adventures. Can't wait to see what they are. Hope the New Year is good to you.
Happy holidays. Why get a rig? You just need a backpack and a GoPro. You have the skills now. Maybe a sailboat or just hop on a plane and explore the world. Good luck in your next adventure! I retired in 2020. It goes by quickly. Carpe Diem!
You're such an incredibly talented content creator and gifted problem solver. Look at how much you've learned, and applied, by building, and traveling in, a house on wheels! This has been a phenomenal education! Education notwithstanding, when you calculate the capital investment for the van and everything you put into it, as well as fixed costs such as fuel, and variable costs, such as maintenance and repairs, did you spend less money than you would have if you would had instead "base camped" from a motel, campground, studio, Airbnb, etc. to see the country in the same timeframe?
Congrats Anna, I've enjoyed watching your van journey, and some aspects of your build have made it into mine. 🙂.. I look forward to seeing your next chapters.
CONGRATULATION ON SELLING THE VAN! I LOVED your set up, great cooking set up and storage! Also, very creative mic holder HAHAHA So excited for your next build!!! CHEERS!
So glad.l became an Anna groupie. You are so special...bright as a hi beam headlamp, cute and squeaky clean...keys to a classy person. Fearless or foolhardy...you pick...you've been inspiring and selfless in your sharings....you welcomed us into your life to share your wins and commiserate with you when you give yourself boo boos. I'm a senior citizen...oh hell where'd the time go??? but young woman l've learned from you, platonically fell in love with you like a wonderful sister and friend. Reading the comments you typically get tells me you're loved. I will mourn the break but look forward to your reincarnation. I have no doubt the next edition of Anna will somehow better than before...have no idea how but l'm confident it will happen. Be safe and good to yourself. 🤗😘
It is absolutely awesome van. I thought you were going to go sailing since you learned how to sell. Hello from New Orleans we have free sailboats down here if you want one they require a little bit of work. However it is free like the wind
