Happy to see/hear you back on here Anna! Your videos are always great sources of stirring our own thoughts, philosophies and just making our own way thru life by gaining insight into yours. The wisdom you impart is always valuable, and in many ways, comforting. I've missed your videos & talks, just as many others have expressed below. Yes, I too, hope you write a book (actually several) as well as continue your films/documentaries. Thanks for still sharing with us, a community that has grown to love and look forward to each episode over the years. And best wishes in your journey forward, where ever it takes you. Anna, have you maybe considered changing the name of your channel to “Anna, in search of”? But then the big question would be, in search of what? Knowledge, peace, purpose, love, the perfect place to call home, security, adventure, happiness (all the above?) I really enjoyed this video and I am glad you were able to see Tikal before you left Guatemala. When I visited Tikal (over 40 years ago) I came over from Belize and traveled with a couple of Guatemala military guys that were members of the kaibal special forces. (Kind of like our navy seals, but no disrespect to the navy seals, much more intimidating.) being around them made me I realized that I really was not the tough guy that I thought I was. Those Kaibal guys gave me the impression that they would be perfectly fine if they never saw civilization again. I remember the couple of days I was there I existed on saltine crackers and beer. Being the wimp that I am, I could not eat any of the local food without getting sick and I don’t believe bottled water was available back then. I kind of wish I had visited Tikal when I was older, ( you know you could have told me you were going and invited me to come along 🥴) maybe I would have been more able to appreciate what the Mayan had accomplished instead of seeing everything from a young and arrogant American’s perspective. It appears that there are a lot more people visiting the site nowadays. There were no restrictions on where you could climb and there was no real opening and closing time when I was there. I kind of forgot about the howler monkeys until I saw your video. They would start their loud howling way too early in the morning before the sun came up. ( I’ve never understood how howler monkeys or people for that matter could have so much to say that early in the morning) Are there still large flocks of parrots flying around the ruins? Call me if you decide to visit Machu Picchu or better yet, if you need an extra crew member when you cruise the Sea of Cortez.
I watched you a lot Anna but now I see no point Anymore I personally have no interest in Mexico And really when we stop seeing someone we looked forward to every week There is no point anymore. Now everyone this is just my opinion nothing against anyone Who wants to support her just not my kind of content anymore. Good luck with what you do Anna.
