Great energy. Especially love your comment at end about "choosing who we spend our time with". So many folks work in toxic environments. Even one A-hole boss or co-worker can add stress to your every day. Blessings to you and thanks for this. I'd been thinking of getting a short bus but leaning more towards an ambulance now.💖
@@donniesellers793 where are you now? I'm in San Diego and looking for a step van to convert for myself and my 5 small senior rescue dogs & 2 senior rescue cats while I'm still working until I can retire in a few short years.
Great ambulance build. Dude seems super cool as well...what a great, inspirational and motivational story...was building a camper awhile back and lost my vision, motivation, and doubted myself as well...I am back at it(totally regret giving up the first time) and trying to keep the dream alive by searching for a new rig (sold last one during the lost vision and motivation period...one of my biggest regrets)..
I really like those metal security covers over the windows. A lot of people drive all around in ambos, vans, box trucks, etc but overlook security. One of the most important things in my opinion
Awesome ride/home! Great video. "put a plan together", saw a rig last week with a quote on the side "Not a Dream, It's a Plan". So true, if you want to do it, plan it and make it happen.
I've worked hard my whole life but had some bad bumps and bruises health wise and monetarily along the way. Been dreaming of life on the road for 10 years but now with Covid and my preexisting conditions this may be as close as I get. So inspired
I had an ambulance (you can see it on my channel). It broke down and was in the shop waiting on money to repair. Then a business truck backed into me and totaled my car. So I replaced it with a van. Then another business called me and asked if I would sell the ambo, so I did. I had only started the build out. I was going to do the toilet, shower, and stove like this one. And I used the hidden box next to the shower for my safe. It's cool to be inside because it's big. And I loved all the storage outside. I was worried about future costs for new tires (6) and batteries (2), and both were needed. But the 7.3 Power Stroke is a good motor that should get at least 300k miles, if not 500k. Mine was a 1996 named Angel Baby.
I almost converted an ambulance. Last minute I did a 6 window bus. If I find it too big, my next vehicle will be an ambulance. I still have all my diagrams. Thanks for sharing.

I still coming back to watch this video. Donnie's ambu is the best convert I've ever seen. I'm looking for the same unit and want to make conversion just like this. Thanks for this video it's very inspire!
It's nice you're sharing more content on the people your meeting. Gives more of a reinforcement, that others can do this also & that yes there are other life options.
This was one of the best tours you've done. His message was worth a million bucks, and c'mon... GHOSTBUSTERS!!! Uh... Duhhh! Huge thumbs up from me man. 👍
Awesome tour & meeting :) i must say i was hoping Donnie would activate the lights & siren haha, but i'm guessing it's not permitted to do that if you're not a still serving ambulance :) Weirdos Unite! Next : a hearse? (my man drives a sort of purple hearse & sleeps in it sometimes, but it's not "built" ... Just a sleeping bag on the floor :) )
