❤❤❤ I followed your guide for your build on the white van! Man doing the woodwork around the bulk head in tongue and grove is quite hard. I really appreciate you doing this! You wanna look at the VW awnings you can get they are great for a cooking area

@@willsvanadventures yes they are VW official awnings, made for caddies! Yeah, I built mine this time last year. In total I spent about £800. I ended up building a collapsible frame for a double bed that sits on adjustable feet, fills the entire back up but just like you I use it for work so it's real handy to have the bed fully removable. I think the best part about the tongue and groove is my van smells of pine and everyone who gets in always compliments that 💙 the mattress I ended up getting really good memory foam cut to size which set me back like £150 but it's really comfy I've got more for my caravan too

Just in time. Just got mine maxi caddy yesterday. Try to make a dutch swamper caddy to get it ready for next year le mans.

@willsvanadventures well maby put a lift kit on it, bullbar at the front and maby some other tires. Running the stock steel wheels now. Most important is to get the inside ready, the solar and roof rack on. But tips are always welcome

@willsvanadventures Hi Will ive done most of the mods youve done after watching your videos . Im wondering what to do when i vapour seal the floor and put new ply down...before i glue laminate or wooden floor to the new ply do i screw the ply through the vapour seal and sound deadening ? Seems kinda counter productive . I was looking to see how you did it. But couldnt find what you did with the new floor ply , surely we dont puncture the vapour seal/sound deadening ? Nice video , as always thanks for sharing.

@@willsvanadventures buying it soon, my uncle has been coming with me to view them but the ones I’ve seen haven’t been great once we’ve been there, I’m getting a rock and roll bed installed , I’m only 5ft 6 so the swb is ideal for daily car and for weekends away. Stayed in my brother in laws T5 for a night , wish I could afford one of those though 🤣
