I got to say that idea for the second table mount to make a dining space to sit two or use as a bed is actually genius. I love that a ton! What a fantastic idea!
@@joopheeringa1098 If I'll get the same length van then I'll do more or less the same, but I'm thinking about getting a shorter van (much easier o manuver and park), so I will have to ditch the shower and turn it into a shower-in-a-drawer, or to make a floor drain.
Very nice done. The only thing I believe that wouldn't have cost much to add was a fold down sink in the bathroom and then it would be a lovely home on wheels.
This is one of the best conversions! three swivel lagoon tables with genius movable box seat cushions, shower with toilet that doubles as a closet, extended bed, two piece wood sink cover divider, and amazing beautiful cabinets. The three burner wood cover stovetop counter with oven is awesome. perfect conversion!
you probably dont give a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my brother during the lockdown =)
Very nice! I'm dreaming of getting a van, and you've come close to my imagined design. I'm glad to see everything fits! Very creative with the moving bench seat.
Your vans are so well designed and really beautifully built! I first lived in a van as a student in the 70's (on the university car park!) - and have owned - and looked at 'many' since - but yours are some of the very best I've ever seen. Nice videos to watch too!
I absolutely ❤️this van convertion. Its functional and very homey. Very well planned and prepared. Excellent work. Having a van like this is my life dream. Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
Love the van conversion and layout. My only concern would be access to the control panels. It would mean that cupboard can't really be used (unless something flat 😃) but other than that, love it all. I've subscribed and excited to see more!
Try another conversion with same concept, but replace shower with portable one. For me, it would be perfect. It provides more space. I like moving the sitting cubs around. wherever you want.
Another superb van conversion, Oli and Emmelia, using every square inch to the best advantage. I did intend to buy a new lwb Mercedes Sprinter asap after seeing your wonderful conversion, but because of your other conversions on the Pegueot Boxer and now the Fiat Ducato I can't decide, as they are all so lovely!
Thank you Wendy. Yes their are different advantages with each base vehicle. We spoke about our base van considerations in a video a few week ago. Perhaps you should check it out. The Citroen Relay, Peugeot Boxer and Fiat Ducato are the same shape / chassis.
Nice van, there are two features that I have been on the look out for as would like to incorporate in my van (if I am ever allowed one) a sliding door bulkhead, vertical as opposed to horizontal and the second is a wet room floor kind of a layout with a shower screen, the reason I want that is because I want it to feel more open and also we would not be doing long distance trips so wouldn't need as much storage ... I have them in my head, but haven't seen anyone using them yet.
Thanks for your comment. We have done a sliding door in our most recent van actually here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pXxk_S-xw-U.html. A wet room may be difficult as we would be concerned about water leaking into the rest of the van as often vans are not parked on completely level ground.
@@vanlifeconversions yeah agree on the wet room flooring but I thought about putting a cut down gorilla tub with waste over the top when showering so that it contained the water...... just a thought.
Very clean build, it improves with each van. I especially like the slim bathroom but the placement of the mixer seems quite low though. It looks inconvenient when using the toilet as well when showering but maybe that´s just me 😄
Think I would have put the control panel at face level on the back of the shower cubicle above where the cutlery draw is, thus freeing up a cupboard for more of that all important storage space. Otherwise, an excellent build... love it, especially the colour combination. Do you do minivans such as a (l.h.d) Transit Connect?
Hi! I really love this conversion, absolutely stunning! I have one question; what is the size of the shower cubical? We are not very small😊 so I’d really like to close the door while using the toilet. Thanks!
I would have a magnetic closure for curtains as well as the drawers. No safety latches! Also, make the cabinets larger. Include custom made magnetic covers for all windows. And did I hear correctly? The water is underneath the van? What about very cold temperatures? Cold the water/piping freeze? Overall, a lovely design. I’d rethink the lighting, have dimmers controllable by iPhone.
We have tried magnetic drawer catches but they do not work that well. Yes that is right the water tanks are under the van, insulated along with the pipes and include a heat element which kicks in when it drops below 4 degrees to prevent freezing
Hiya, thank you for the kind words. Yes this design could fit into a MWB Sprinter. The living space dimensions in the van are 1.8m wide x 3.5m long. I hope this helps
@@vanlifeconversions thats a really great job both....really didn't fancy getting an extended base and now this video means I'm getting closer and closer to this reality! I'll be in touch 😉
Hi Sophie, yes this van is 4 seasons. We pride ourselves in using excellent materials for our insulation. We use mostly 50mm and 25mm celotex PIR insulation boards on the floor, walls and ceiling. We also use 7mm think closed cell foam for areas that risk condensation, and also soft wool insulation in the difficult to reach places. We do have a video on our insulation methods,so if you like, feel free to check it out on our channel. Thanks for the kind words and support. Oli and Em
Wow! This van is quite beautiful and practical. I wonder how long the conversion took to complete, and the cost of the conversion. It's so roomy, I was surprised by the ample storage space in the garage. Thanks for sharing this video.
Thank you for your kind words, this conversion took around 12 weeks. There is information about costs on our website as prices depend on the size of van and specifications, our custom conversions start from £30K + VAT
This is gorgeous! Love the way it all fits together so neatly! Just wondering though, would it be possible to make a version with a lift up storage bed so you can access the garage from the inside, as opposed to going outside?
Nice job. The finish looks excellent. I like your square black sink. I'm struggling to find a small one to go in my van. Can you remember where you purchased that one please? Thanks.
