We’re you getting the starter to actually turn the engine before the new wire installation? I’m in a predicament we’re inreplaced the starter and cleaned all connections and grounds and spade connectors that go to my starter from ignition wire, replaced ignition switches and cleaned (automatic) my park/Neu safety switch and nothing starts my engine over.
Yes, my starter was turning over fine, just wasn't getting power to activate the fuel and ignition systems. If your starter isn't turning over at all with the ignition key, check your starting battery ground, engine, and the short transaxle grounds. You may need to add a separate ground from the starter to the chassis. If turning the key still doesn't activate the starter then there may be a fault in the wiring from ignition switch to starter solenoid.
