Vanagon/ T25: replacing a faulty ignition switch 

If the following three systems stop working at once and at the same time, you probably have to replace the ignition switch: head lights, ventilation and wipers. The switch is located below the ignition lock and normally it‘s job is to take these three systems from the circuit when you start the engine to provide all voltage to the starter. But when it’s broken there is no electricity for the three... The part is fairly cheep and the whole procedure is done in 15-30 minutes. Needed tools: 24mm nut for the steering wheel Philipps screw driver Slot screw driver 6mm Allen bit Needed material: New Ignition switch VW part number as a reference: 111 905 865 L ---- Musik: Dock Rock - John Deley and the 41 Players“ ---- I have added amazon or eBay-links to some of the articles.
