Thanks, I used your tip. Worked perfect removing baffles from big shots staggered. The screws were rounded (impossible to get out using allen key), so I grinded them all down and from inside bent the baffle to free them.
I've got the same pipes on the same bike and was looking at a couple of bolts back there, but I suspect they're just mounting bolts. Glad I saw this, although I think I might try a mall instead of a rubber mallet.
Thank you this was helpful, mine had two screws though. I took my raider for a spin and I am not sure that I like the sound. I think that I might exchange the pipes for a double exhaust instead. Maybe that will make it sound more deep.
Thanks for this video. I have the same pipe, with the baffle out. It can be awesomely loud. I receive plenty of complaints from the bikes riding to my right side. When you re-installed your baffle, was it difficult to align the screw hole to the correct position since it appears to be an interference/press fit ? or does the baffle have guides so that it aligns automatically ? (I didn't remove mine, it was already out when I bought the bike) Thanks again for making this video, more than helpful!
You realize removing the baffle eliminates the back pressure the engine needs to run correctly? Do a little research you loose power and performance removing baffles
