Wow I am like blown away! I used to have a MC-505 (and 3 Korg Ms-2000r and rb's) I had to let them go for money issues. A major loss. To have to seell my "artwork" Your music is incredibly impressive. So ambient, earthy, and New Age yet so mellow! This almost has to be the best Ive ever heard from an MC 505. Great job!
wow I am inspired to channel more ambient healing music. I have a few that I will record now I have a camera. nice studio! my setup is the 505, 307, ESX, DX27, Darkstar and a matrix 1000. Thank you for posting this.
GroveProject, I must mention the talent here, many can luck up on a CQQL tune, this isn't even close to luck, it is shear talent. Nice work I will seek other work you have created. Thanks dude, nicely mixed, I'm throwing it to my outside speakers now, sounds really good, I live on a river and the eco through the woods really adds that lost in the jumgle touch, I suggest it is retitled "Rain Forest Blue".
Absolutely beautiful...and a great tutorial for live performance with hardware. I downloaded Moogie Boogie today, can't stop looping it in Winamp. Fantastic!!
Absolutely amazed ... awed ... baffled ... So what did you use the 808 for ? BTW, what is that first patch you use on the Virus (I have a TI and would like to use it).
This aquatic beginning reminded me Vangelis, you are couragous to play on this no-keyboard machine, but seems you know how to swing your machines somehow, I know you played this first asiatic (Koto style?) melody but would so much see you play it, the monophonic style solo after is very nice (sound like notes) how could you achieve that sound with a Solton? sounds very moogy!, is it a mix of world into electro hypnotic stuff with a chill motion feel, this one should really be played live
Can I ask what you used to fix your MC-505 to the wall? I have just had a second hand 505 and need to do the same thing but I can't find a suitable bracket....hope you can help. Great tunes btw, listened to them all now...keep em coming.
can you remember why you filmed your equipment and not yourself? i mean everybody is focusing on the machines and not on the performers today in these electronic music videos. do you know how it started? i'm curious.
superb! love the ambient mood! very talented and inspirational. Ive bought a Juno G a few months ago and getting to grips with that - and just found a mc505 on ebay real cheap! Ill have a play and see if its really useful and then look at an mc808 later! Thanks and keep the vids coming - any chance of some MC505 video tutotials! :-)
Hey, lovely track, one quick question, what one, in your opinion is better? the 808 or 505? i just dropped 2000 bucks on an 808 and it will be here any day, so im just wondering if i invested my money wisely... lol..
I am looking to buy an Mc-303 groovebox. I have never used anything like this before, is this a good piece of equipment to start upon? I know they are are £100, $150 ish, is that the right price on E-bay? Although, as it is electric, it'd be far easier to buy it new and with a warranty, but where can i buy one new, or one similar new, at the £100 - £150 price range? HELP PLEASE!!! Thanks.
