Underrated? Sorry, you're totally wrong. Just to remind you, Vanessa Amorosi became popular all over the world in 2000 when she performed at both the opening and the closing ceremony of the Olympics. "Absolutely Everybody", "Shine" and "Everytime I close my eyes" were very successful in the billboard charts in my home country Germany as well as the album "The Power", and being air-played constantly during the decade of 2000-2010... Believe me, Vanessa HAD her world-wide popularity and attention. There was no underrating at all =)

Her songs were being air-played to and fro...And if you checked her Wikipedia entry, you'd know that in Australia she HAD a #1 single hit, too ("This is who I am") ;-)) -- as well as a for-times platinum #1 album ("The Power") with 62 weeks in the billboard charts.... I'm sorry, but if you think that would happen to somebody "underrated", you're wrong. There was a lot of commercial success. And by the way, she won a German music award ("Viva Comet") as well as an Australian APRA one (For "Shine", the song presented in this video) and was nominated 16 times for APRA and ARIA awards.... Mayber you're just too young and don't know about her great successful times any more?? However, nowadays Vanessa Amorosi's not as popular anymore which is due to the fact that her record label contract was cancelled 10 years ago and as far as I know there's no new material from her been released since then.

I remember she was everywhere with Absolutely Everybody in the U.K, then remember Shine being on a few music channels, but then it got cancelled 😔. No radio station playing it was a big problem. AmaZing voice though!
@Matrix2021 I agree, same goes with Tina Arena, Jimmy Barnes, John Paul Young, John Farnham, Human Nature, Christine Anu it's just sad that the UK always has to have American songs and stars when they have got nothing to do with the United Kingdom, if only the UK shared more ties with Australia because the UK and Australia are both commonwealth where as America isn't, I would say to America the UK doesn't want to have anything to do with that country anynore, no american music, no american stars and movies, nothing.
