Kelly, a very honest appraisal. Good value with all the extras included for a beginner who may not continue the hobby. Definately not a toy and a small outlay for USA dollars. Conversion wise not such a great deal for other Countries. But I certainly think it is value for money for anyone starting out. A good stepping stone to upgrade to a better quality Uke at a later date.

Hey Therese! Exactly. Perhaps they introduce them in the States first and then expand out to other markets from there. The overall build quality seemed very good.

Too-high action is unacceptable to my arthritic hands and can discourage beginners. I have plenty of cheaper ukes in the same price range with excellent action. Thanks for the review, as always!

Agreed - this one was playable however it certainly could've/should've been lower.
