@『Amadeo』 may i aks why? im personally curious about other's opinions on bf2042. Based on what videos ive seen of the game, I believe or hope that the detail is going to be amazing. On the other hand, i feel that the gameplay looks a bit "cartoonish" and that DICE may be trying to appeal to COD players and COD's joke of realistic-ness
it’s not “cod”. Mw2019 looked a lot better in a lot of aspects then battlefield. and had probably the best animations and sounds i’ve ever heard in a game. Vanguard is just a huge downgrade
@@kyle_caswell7130 the only thing cod did better was the reloading animations lmaooo and battlefield 4 which came out in 2013 is still a solid competitor to mw19
@@ImUzis bfv graphically and art style wise is pretty basic because it’s trying to look realistic and gritty. Not flashy. That coupled with the incredible sound design makes it a great visual and audio experience. Solomon Islands no hud and volume up high really was a cool experience. Even on an empty server you should check it out.
Cod ghost was unique in it's way, but the timing of the game is unfortunate. It's the first game to imply new scoping technique though. Not hating BF but Cod are way to easily bashed when people keep comparing it like this(despite cod sells more than bf).
@@commandergull8188 100% agree with you. Vanguard looks like it’s still in its alpha stages. Same goes with Cold War, but at least the campaign felt like more work was put into it
@@sovafps6381 It's fairly matched by BF 5 actually, cod does have things bf does not but also vice versa, so stop hating like a cringy BF fan and actually look at it in both ways.
@@oanhienlong7264 i said level of 'detailing'. I never hated cod (actually hated some fans tbh) mw19's animations and graphics are better than any bf or other fps shooters, most of the time COD gun models & animations are far better than any Bf's Bf in other hand far better at detailing and physics.
@@dietzel8988 cod boys will gobble up every game with a smile (which is fine, everyone has their own tastes and we shouldn’t go around calling everything they like shit because it doesn’t fall within our own categorization of likes.)
I stopped playing BFV in late 2019, beginning of 2020 (mainly cuz of warzone and i was a bit tired after 1000hs to BFv lol) but then vanguard came out and it made me go back to BFV and i forgot how good the game looks despite all its flaws
@@eldidimauschannel4710 I don't want to be that guy but beta is not about graphics. It's mostly for bugfixing, server issues and balance. So the game will be the same at release
Wood? Are you kidding me? How f*cking incompetent was Sledgehammer? They can’t even get the right material for basic things like flags… Just shows how truly soulless modern COD is.
@@melcorchancla9431 As if it matters if the game is finished. They know people will still buy it. Ain't buying another cod at all after i bought cold war like a dumbass.
i used to be more of a cod fan but im starting to lean more towards battlefield because they are just superior. Suggested by battlefield v being released years ago and looking/playing better than vanguard. Also im aware vanguard is in BETA, but it just feels like a re-skin of 2019 mw change my mind.
Battlefield V is the worst battlefield cause it looks like cod with the Elites soldiers, customization and etc, gameplay is awesome, and accelerated like cod, so i think Battlefield V is the perfect Bridge to turn cod players into Battlefield players. And then go fot the other battlefields (1 and 2042)
Yea depends on the gun. If the gun uses a magazine it's usually the same. But if it's like at 0:52 the animation is way different depending on the exact amount of bullets you shoot lol. Like if you empty the clip fully the reload will be faster than if you leave one bullet in the chamber. I think some guns have secret/random animations like M1 grand your thumb can accidently get stuck in the loading mechanism
@@nicobenji0248 As I remember, one of the handguns in bfV needed to take out every bullet inside and put a new clip in. I can't remember the name of it, but that gun made me frustrated by it's long reload time.
This just makes me appreciate Battlefield with dice level of detail, though vanguard had a small opening for it's development, COD should just work on the game they have, improve its graphics and gameplay instead of bring a cod out every year
5:18 for a split second it says modern warfare in the title when transitions from Vanguard. Ik it’s probably a minor editing mistake but it’s still funny none the less
I personally loved bfv it looked beautiful, playing was fun as hell, and it was even more fun when I played with friends with all the wacky stuff we did. Now I'm playing bf4 in preparation for 2042.
With the saving bullets bit, that’s more of a historical inaccuracy on Vanguards part. Tactical reloads are more of a modern thing. Though to be fair in WW1/2 they also probably didn’t just yeet a half empty mag/clip away when it still has some shots left
In ww1 and ww2 soldiers were encouraged to save all empty magazines and clips because they were expensive to make. Clips much less so, but you were still encouraged to retrieve them if you could.
@@the47thsoldier67 everyone can think what he wants, as long as he doesn't let himself be influenced by other people. What we played is a beta version of the game from 3 months ago, so it's definitely not the full game. You will see when the game is fully released
@@Alessandro-06 not only that but also main mechanics i think are really bad, such as removing specific classes, The specialist system (i also hates in bf5 how in The end of the games cycle everyone was wearing elite skins) And etc
@@the47thsoldier67 I think the skins will be done much better than Battlefield 5, but wait until the full game is out. We only have to wait another month
The thing is that at least they put time and attention to detail on BFV, and even if on Vanguard they used the same graphic motor than in MW 2019, MW took almost 4 years on the development, and that is what makes MW a really good game, and Vanguard is just another anual COD, just like BOCW.
So why is the flag on vanguard like a wall? On BFV like in real life. If you toss a grenade on the flag. It will not bounce back. But on vanguard. It will bounce?
This is exactly why cod is struggling if Activision wasn't so obsessed with getting a cod out every year and give each studio the time and freedom to innovate the game we could get high quality cods like MW 2019 I am actually fine waiting a few years for a cod
its funny how MW2019 pretty much set a golden standart with animations, sound design and small details, then we went a bit back with Cold War....and then came Vanguard
@@bananakin2.070 you what mate! Medics always revive they just don’t when your probably lying down in the middle of a street where there is like 20 guys suppressing that area
Dice has always made beautiful and dynamic games. I've never had an issue with that. Call of Duty has done very little to change their game engine over the years. But that's okay for their audience because Call of Duty is built as a fast-paced, competitive FPS. The issue with Battlefield in recent years is that, in their attempt to make their games "fresh" and "attractive to new audiences", they've made their games boring. In BFV, they completely broke the gameplay that made older Battlefield games fun. I hope Dice finds their way again.
Dice is dead. They messed up bf2042 I'm almost certain that they will mess up the next game, they cut content for bf5, for battlefront 2 and they cancelled battlefront 3 for bf 2042.
That reload detail is just completely wrong. All guns in BFV have different reloads for tactical and empty states. But if you're referring to them using the tactical reload as a base for the empty one... The vast majority of games do that, and I don't see why that's bad. But even then, BFV has a lot of guns that don't reuse the tactical reload.
The reload animation where the soldier takes the mag out (likely doesn’t preserve it) and inserts a new one is actually historically accurate, since tactical reloads weren’t introduced until the Vietnam war
@@marcobautista2160 nah, cod mw19 remains the best graphically looking game to date and i don't think anyone's gonna top it unless it's from the same guys, vanguard beta looks dog and we all can agree.
Both have great graphics and Vanguard had a better story but BF5 was just a much better all around game. When it comes to detail, BF5 is better. BF5's gameplay is smoother. And above all else, BF5 multiplayer is so fun and Vanguard multiplayer is really really boring.
I remember in the COD bo2 campaign I would shoot fire extinguishers on some maps and it would actually explode like a smoke grenade and act like one which was pretty useful but it wouldn’t work in multiplayer.
when I was on the island on vanguard all I could think of was bf4 and how amazing it was when the level changed and it was like mayhem I'm def getting bf on the ps5
I’m not even going to buy vanguard, not specifically because of the lack of details. But because I know I’ll just get bored of it after a few days playing and then never play it again, it literally just looks like a re skinned and worse version of modern warfare 2019. And in all honesty it’s going to be extremely hard to beat modern warfare 2019, and I don’t know if they ever will.
Correct me if I’m wrong, aren’t partial reload animations where they save the magazine relatively new to mainstream shooters? I recall that being introduced in MW2019 for COD but BFV predates that trend.
the custom tactical animation started for only 9-10 guns in bf 1, then it became a whole feature that actually makes differences in reload time when bf5 came out. Modern Warfare 2019 was inspired by DICE.
It's amazing how small and some would argue insignificant details can make a game seem more authentic. Just the way the BFV models interact with the map adjusting leg position on sloped surfaces as opposed to cod's floating on air above them just screams to me how much more immersive BFV can be. Sure it has some outrageous skins and elites, but in the end it still feels more real than Vanguard to me.
@@SCP-TheVoiceBehindMe-lf5om that is true, but I feel that this one is unnecessarily loud and irritating to listen to. Other games had different announcers based on countries like Russia or the US
Since I’ve seen some controversy with this: He wasn’t saying that BF5 doesn’t have separate reloads for an empty mag and one still with ammo. He was saying that even if the mag still has ammo the soldier just tosses it away. Where-as in Vanguard they pocket the magazine. Which is more realistic
Which may actually not be 100% realistic. The first documented event of a 'tac-reload' takes place somewhere in the 60s by Col Cooper who would later go onto teach it to others. Some people point to the Miami Shootout, but they seem lacking in certain details as none actually had a date for the shootout. Soldiers would likely drop mag and reload without any thought in a stressful situation or under fire to keep the mag incase of it being needed. It's also true that both sides before and during WW2 had gun companies develope their weapons with certain reload types in mind, as to let their soldiers move from one variant to the next with being able to operate them effectively, and allow for reloads with partially empty mags to be accomplished. Soldiers could also develope the skill on their own to keep a partial mag when reloading, but instinct is going to kick in when in a stressful situation and they'd likely revert to their training. Col Cooper developed the common tac-reload using techniques developed by I believe award winning shooters, using his 1911 in .45, something he used simply because of it's effectiveness and notoriety in combat
some of y’all really slept on battlefield v and for no reason. everything that turned people off from the game at first they either fixed or got rid of. but once they released the pacific expansion, that’s when the game really picked up and i completely jumped ship from cod. battlefield v honestly felt like a whole new game
Another detail a lot of people miss out on, is that in Battlefield V, when you get shot blood appears on the gun. So either your character coughs it out or the splash from the bullet leads it there
I always enjoyed Bf5. It’s not a bad game it just had really bad marketing that turned everyone away. It’s not flawless but neither is bf1 (my favorite battlefield) or 4 or any other battlefield.
It’s a shame bf5 is dead and only gods play it. Out of the 3 battlefields I have it’s my favorite, shame since it’s pretty much impossible to have fun in without there being a huge ammount of players
@@farianandadiratama basically. Nobody really downloads the game anymore. So the only people that stay and play it are the people who have gotten incredible at it. And it sucks for the people who just play it because they like ww2 and not because they want to join Faze
Battlefield V had the worst trailer and marketing canpaing in the dice history, they redimed with the pacífic war trailer but still the damage was done, even, after watching again the battlefield 1 trailer, it gives the urge to play it again
For me, Battlefield V has a great Multiplayer and great campaign. (If we ignore the army of women dying every 3 seconds, the elites, and 3 of the 4 campaign missions)
