Wasn't it nominated for an Oscar hahaha I think it was popular cause it was the same time ice ice baby came out. I just remember it making alot of money
I remember going to Blockbuster and asking if they would sell me their only rental copy. They checked how many times it had been rented. Then they said that I was the only one who had ever rented it so they sold it to me😊 I was stoked!
I did the same thing! I used to work at a video rental store and I asked my boss if he could sell me the only copy we had, but he said no. I was never able to get my hands on a copy :'(
OH MY GODAAAHHH!!! This movie has so many moments that are embarrassing to even watch but I can watch this movie every time it comes on lol those early and mid 90’s days were so damn fun when hip hop was really blowing up
Yeah, he was one hot guy , yet his song "Ice Ice Baby" 🎵was so C👀l while he was H❤️🔥T. RU-vid sends me a n🔔tification, so I keep c💫ming back here. And N🔮W✨️3.11.24✨️I S👀 he L👀ks like this guy I used to know from L🔮ng Ago. He had this l👀k, the rapper hip hop l👀k, talked like him , rapped like him @ll c💫mplete with "ThE Braids, the Brick Hair D🧱The Bad Boy" 🔥 only I was So prejudiced back then and steered clear of Bad Boys. He seemed sweet and we didn't live to far from each other so I gave him my#, and when he asked for my Name, when I told him it I said you better get it right if you're gonna 📞all me..Ivmean it 😆I gave him such a hard time when he 📞alled Me and he mispronouced my name. I think I might have told him, "There's Nobody here by that Name," and 📞lick went the Line.😅 But, Luckily, he 📞alled Me Back and when I answered, he said why did you say that, I said because it's not my Name, well I gave him a pass and he never mispronounced it again! I don't remember what happened, I think he did weed, so I said I wasn't into guys that did any kind of drugs. And we we're young, like 18, 19, so I cut it off! But, W🔥W, I see it now! And Vanilla Ice would have been then t👀 so it makes sense must've been his idol. Lol Only I think He was H🔥tter than Vanilla Ice. It's funny how some memories c💫me back to you what seems like lifetimes AG🔮! 😅
@@gloriempaka9474 It's a movie Vanilla Ice made back in the 90's. I think it was called "Cool as ice." Honestly it's one of those so bad it's good movies. Everything about it is just bad from beginning to end... 😂😂😂
@@gloriempaka9474 It was a great time to be a teenager.... There's no way I'd wanna be a kid during these times. We had very little worries and tons of fun. And it helped when we didn't have to worry about some idiot pulling a gun...
This looks like the most amazing movie ever made. I have to watch it now because I'm on the edge of my seat to find out if she did indeed drop the zero to get with the hero. My gut instinct tells me she did, but nobody say anything.
“If you wanna get with a winner, you gotta drop that chicken dinner. You hear? You've gotta get rid of your friend, though, if you wanna ride in a Benz-o.” Jerome circa 1992. Coldest line ever!!!
I heard a lot of idiots saying the same thing, even though they already know who he was, and yet he should become a rapper of some sort, this people crazy
Ice Ice baby !!! That song went so hard when I was in the 3th grade , first concert I ever went to matter of fact at the what used to be" Fourm" now" Kia Forum" in Inglewood CA , with MC Hammer headlinig, Envogue but he didn't perform I forgot who filled in but I was disappointed he left that tour ...i think it was 357, either way that concert still was AWSOME 💯💪🙌
Yeah he had everybody (my white friends) doing that to their eyebrows, their head.... it was hilarious😂 & oh yes somehow they was all cousins "until that Arsenio Hall show"🤣 it was the same for Michael & MC Hammer.... Everybody wanted to be "young pretty thugalicious" 🤣
@@judaprinxbeatz.8008Everybody has literally copied everyone else throughout all of history lol.. If we could only do things that were done by the same race, then we'd be screwed...
Kristin Minter grew up around the corner from me and I went to high school with her younger brother Mike. I don't think he even bothered to see this movie.
The way she gave him googly eyes and his ridiculous facial features was basically the 90s preparing us for the apocalyptic dating scene of today. Worthless Chads scooping up all the good girls while betabux Bill gets the leftovers and all the... bills.
@Billy-bc8pk chads ain't worthless,,, I give the girl a great evening filled with laughs and finished with 8.5 scoops of vitamin D ,,,we both have a great night , and than I move on,,, maybe I call back in a few months if it's dry season lol
We had it pretty good for like the last 10 years or so. Probably the best style people have had in ages. And now yeah, streetwear is really starting to explode in popularity. And it’s so. Fucking. Gay.
@afewsnakes They screw it up alot. Sagging with tight pants to the point that your whole ass is showing is ridiculous. If you want to do it properly rock some larger sized pants.
@@PERRIERTASTESLIKEPISS In a few years, people will be saying the 2018-2023 era of fashion is absolutely sh*t. It's the nature of fashion cycles and when a generation becomes irrelevant to youth culture. And in this case, I'd have to agree. Nothing is remotely attractive, innovative, or flattering about the clothing, and small beady eyes paired with huge eyeglasses look ridiculous.
this movie was released in 91, the mask in 94, and Hercules (also uses this line) in 97. However, it's first documented use was in 1893 "the gradations are as clearly marked by which he ascends from zero to hero"
say, what are you all about him but Rob was a stud in 1990 every woman wanted to date him and that song? The minute you heard it you knew it was gonna be a hit… And then it just blew up. I still love this song to this day… He actually had other songs on his first album that I like too there was a song called hooked that I liked. This song and “MC Hammer can’t touch this“ which sadly was also a one hit wonder were the JAMS back in the day and I still love “you can’t touch this” too. It’s a great song… these two songs, bring back so much nostalgia. 1989-1990… such better times
@@tommydub1281they were being REALLY sarcastic and I can't tell if you know or not lmao the only movie awards he was ever even considered for was the Razzie Awards. He was nominated for Worst Actor, Worst Supporting Actor, and Worst Original Song- he WON for Worst New Star. I couldn't go to bed thinking someone out there might think Vanilla Ice actually won an Academy award lol
