So you might notice a lot of inconsistencies in the production quality. I really wanted to make an epic video on this topic but I lost that momentum in the long run. Don't take the "beta" word lightly! (If you're like me)

Besides GNOME light/dark theming can you install gnome extension and do a tiny bit of customization on Vanilla OS?

After the GNOME 45.2 update, I've encountered difficulties in customizing various aspects such as terminal theme, file icons, file theme, settings theme, and cursor theme. These were settings I had previously customized using the GNOME Tweak legacy application, and they no longer seem to be working. Could you provide insights into these changes and suggest any alternatives for customization?

You can check out my open-source project Evolve, which is a modern Gnome Tweaks alternative. You thanked me for sending you into hell! I'm so sorry, I didn't realize it was in what I would consider to be more of an alpha state. I love the ideas and technology being implemented here but I'll be exercising caution before moving forward with it. Thank you for fighting your way through, appreciate the extra effort.

Can you review Bedrock Linux as well? It kinda like Vanilla OS but you dig a little bit deeper. I think it would be a cool experience though!

This is an interesting distro, I love that it asked me to install propietary GPU drivers (nvidia). But it is still immature. Disk encryption is in beta version now, if you install Firefox in 3 different subsystems, still just one can be open at a time. Not everything works well, they still change this distro version to version, so it need one, two, three years before we can seriously use it. But the idea behing Vanilla is great.

I had very similar problems with Vanilla version 1. I was very excited about the OS but these problems are deal killers. Sad to see it's not any better in v2.

I also got the same problems. Vanilla OS 1 has been a really great experience for me but Orchid is just so difficult. It's too different compared to Vanilla OS 1.
